  1. And don't cross post. Regards
  2. To make it perfectly clear, get Verbatim MKM-001 +R dual layer blanks. Regards
  3. Best music you hear all day! Regards
  4. I'm a happy AMD overclocker Regards
  5. Some blanks are hit and miss, while others will burn every time. The TYs and the Verbs are in the latter category. Regards
  6. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Is there anymore to the log? Regards
  7. Remember, on a scan, you're just reading. DL will be limited to read speed anyway. Regards
  8. If the burn is OK (and it seems that it is), you have a media/player incompatibility issue. Regards
  9. You're not trying to decrypt a DVD using ImgBurn are you? It just doesn't do that. It reads unprotected DVDs. Regards
  10. Time for you to get some good media - Verabtim or Taiyo Yuden And if you have further problems, please post a log (see the help menu) Regards
  11. Always get an 80 wire cable, anyway. Seems many people like to scan at 8x Regards
  12. When burning you want it full. When reading, you want it empty. Regards
  13. Click the link in my signature or from ImgBurn's menu: Tools --> Drive --> Check for firmware updates Regards
  14. If the image is faulty, you could do a completely unique thing....something really outa left field... Go buy the DVD. Regards
  15. Check your DMA. And make sure you don't use CPU intensive apps while burning. Regards
  16. Any chance you would consider changing media from Optodisc to Taiyo Yuden (I know you have tried Verbatims)? Regards
  17. How did this happen? No commercial DVD would have this unless someone has played with the DAR. Fix it in PgcEdit. Select any title in the affected VTS, Ctrl-A and change it to 16:9 automatic letterbox. I see you got this from an AVI. You really should have got it from a DVD. If you downloaded it, that is illegal and I can't help you. Regards
  18. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. ImgBurn is not a DVD authoring tool. But what you want can be easily accomplished with PgcEdit's Jump to PGC Upon DVD Insert function. Guide on the site (written by a total nincompoop). Simply select the main movie (and not the menu) and follow the guide. Then burn with ImgBurn. Or, you can live with it and just press the play movie button Regards
  19. ImgBurn does not decrypt DVDs. In read mode, it will make an ISO of an unencrypted DVD only. We can't help on decrypting DVDs. Regards
  20. The last little bit is out of spec with respect to PIEs. The PIFs are fine. How do the latter VTSs play? Regards
  21. Anyway, try copying the IFO, VOB and BUP files to a new folder on the hard drive using Windows Explorer. Then use ImgBurn in build mode. Regards
  22. It should but inferior media produces write errors anyway. So, it is not just a function of the reader (XBox) but very much a function of the writer. Save yourself some time and worry and get some Verbs - 2.4x MKM-001. Regards
  23. That's the whole idea of verifying. To see if the disk can be read. ImgBurn in write mode writes. It gets back an OK from the drive that it wrote. Now the final test is that it can read exactly what it thought it wrote. That's why you should always verify. Regards
  24. Might be time to move this from suggestions to support Regards
  25. Yep - I love seamless playback - I just hate movies that stop in the middle for a brainfart. Ages ago, I returned 2 DVDs cos I thought something was wrong. Turned out the studio had simply authored them with no regard to their customer and broke right in the middle of some action. Things have gotten better in the last 2 years or so. Regards
