  1. Your firmware is two revisions behind...try 1.06 from here ~ http://www.sonynec-optiarc.eu/en/support-s...-ad-series.html Did you convert your avi before trying to burn or is this a compilation of avi's?
  2. What type of files are you working with?
  3. I noticed no one is talking about number 1 ~ http://results.beijing2008.cn/WRM/ENG/INF/...GL0000000.shtml I find it amazing that just four years ago China was right in line for the front runners as far as gold medals go...but this year they are 15 gold medals ahead.
  4. I'm sure you've updated all your drivers for the new and old hardware when you added the new mobo right? EDIT: to expand on mmalves comment....how about Nero on Vista? What is the model number of your gigabyte board?
  5. Now why didn't I think of that Excellent suggestion indeed.
  6. Drag & Drop and the DZ work just fine for me in Vista Ultimate Blu, but I'm always on as admin....really no reason not to unless it's someone elses PC (work or mom & dads) as UAC keeps you from doing anything too stupid.
  7. Why? Is this your PC or are you actually one of the restricted users?
  8. You can activate the Drop Zone by going to View->Drop Zone ~ http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...ost&p=66435
  9. The logs should still be there unless you deleted the log folder since burning them....Help->Imgburn Logs
  10. Are you using the Drop Zone or trying to drop into Imgburn's queue?
  11. I don't know of any program that can interpret what is on your HDD and then erase the corresponding file from your RW DVD. Sorry if I mislead you, I was merely suggesting Imgburn as a program that you could use to backup your directory.
  12. Imgburn doesn't support multiple burners for simultaneous burning, but it does have a queue feature that could burn to all your burners sequentially. I don't know what the limit of recognized burners is or if there is one...the most I've seen in one machine is 10 drives.
  13. It seems like I misread something from the link I posted...
  14. [quote name='Frencho
  15. No need to burn another disc to get the log as the logs are already on your PC...go to Tools -> Imgburn logs. The Verbatim burn will list your media as MKM001 or MKM003 depending on which Verbatims you were using.
  16. You can select what ever speed you want, but your drive will limit the speed to what will burn your disc for the best quality as mmalves stated. The drive also doesn't start burning at the maximum speed, it has to build it's way up to the speed you select and then depending on the limitations of your system/drive/firmware/media will continue to the speed you selected.
  17. http://blankmedia.ca/proddetail3.asp?id=1272 That is $2 per disc which comes out to $50 and is about in line with DL media. It says 2.4X and the picture is for DVD+R, but I think it's DVD+R DL media. If not these aren't worth the money.
  18. If you are a Pioneer fan, then I'd suggest a DVR-115D as a replacement
  19. Your drive is getting on in years...might be time for a new one. Your drive doesn't like your discs or either your drive is going south.
  20. Must still be encoding
  21. You are welcome...good luck and happy burning.
  22. Why are you using Patin-Couffin?
  23. It takes between 2-5 minutes depending on the power of your 'puter. Then import into DVD Flick as one file and output to DVD-9 like mmalves stated.
  24. Why not join them before importing into DVD Flick? http://alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ http://alexander-noe.com/video/amg/en_join_files.html
