  1. Go to "Help"->Imgburn Logs and post the top log from there that you have attempted to burn you .dvd.
  2. If the installer detects earlier versions of Imgburn it will also ask if you want to keep your old settings so nothing changes.
  3. Should've posted all that information

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ Where is a fire? Burned, you do not mean nevertheless what one does animals, if already then copies?

werwer this is an English speaking board, if you are going to post here you should do it in English.
  6. Are you creating a CD cue sheet or just an ISO via build mode? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=5555
  7. It might be better if DVD Flick would allow you to choose your burn engine in some sort of "path" interface such as the encoder selection of DVD Rebuilder or a drop down target menu like shrink.
  8. Maybe it will distract you while you are plopping out the money for a new drive
  9. Why not build one and put the OS of your choice on it? Just to add to corny's response, I don't have a problem with updating on my setup either.
  10. Here is your old thread ~ http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtop...ost&p=69438 ....and the pertinent part of the log Basically the drive is rated for 2X and 4X for these discs, but the discs are actually rated at 16X. Basically an old drive + new media = errors/problems. You can burn the Verbatim discs at a lower than rated speed, but sometimes burning too slow can be just as bad if not worse than burning too fast. My advice stays the same as in the other thread as to obtaining a new drive. I'm sure the others will agree.
  11. I'll take it off your hands if you are unhappy with it Cynthia
  12. You could have just asked for me to tie a string around your finger. ...and it's been verified as not working now.
  13. Thanks everyone...I'll have an extra slice of cake for all of you.
  14. Those should be the good ones...I've bought DL Verbs from NewEgg before and they were Singapore's, just fine with me.
  15. Lowering your read speed may give you some joy too, but all in all you will need a burner. The one that corny linked you too is an excellent drive and I have it's SATA brother. You can also find good deals at NewEgg.com and usually find something with free shipping....Lite-On, Pioneer 115D, NEC/Optiarc 7200A, Samsung 203 (I'm not sure what the IDE equivalant is) are a few good brands. I'd give you links but the Egg is blocked for at work.
  16. You are probably right, but the one I use (Linksys WRG52v2 or something like that) does have one onboard.

    Don

Are you a mind reader corny or is this a test?
  18. We need the entire log...the beginning seems to be missing.
  19. I would just move onto another product...Comodo or another of the free offerings perhaps. I personally don't use an aftermarket firewall, but rely on my routers hardware firewall and Vista's own firewall. No annoying popups to deal with and I haven't seen anything get through yet.
  20. Check your DMA, burning a disc should take no where near that long. To answer your question though, yes, you should be able to do other things while burning to your disc...keep it light though, nothing resource intensive.
  21. DVDInfo Pro and CD Speed as well as Imgburn will give you disc capacities and attributes. None of them will give you the copy protection information, but we can't talk about that here anyway.
  22. Have you tried another disc from the same spindle? For what it's worth, Daxon isn't worth the money...Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden only. EDIT: You've actually got a double whammy there... Not much of a drive either.
  23. Happy birthday Oily...may Carmen Electra come and help you blow out your candles.
