2.4.1.0.exe is 1939160, but I get mine from a super secret location. What is added, changlog/readme.txt wise at the mirrors I don't know. Why would you download the same file from various locations? Was there a problem with one of the files downloaded that would prompt you to do so or is this just a curiousity killed the cat kinda thing?

A log would tell us the brand of disc you are using as I suspect that is the cause of your woes.

Update to 2.4.1.0 Using latest firmware, but it is still from 2005...might be time for a new drive. Dodgy media, Verbatim and Verbatim only for DL applications... DVD+R MIS

I was just going on what you stated earlier. You will see around 3.5 gigs with a 32 bit OS.

My mouse and keyboard are USB so I really don't have a need for PS/2.

You are trying to burn the discs slower than they are meant to be, bump to 2.4X How old is the drive? Might be time for an upgrade as the last support for K05 is 2005, can't find much on the K05RA though.
