You didn't leave a disc in the drive when you flashed your drive did you?
I downloaded thet firmware and it didnt work and now I have no dvd driveThe drive no longer shows in My Computer? Does it show in device manager? If so uninstall the drive and reboot.

It's an el cheapo CoolMax case, I can't remember the model number off the top of my head. I'm wishing I'd got a case with tool less drives. I haven't taken any pictures of the outside....

This should be a combo drive meaning it will read and write CD's and only read DVD's
HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GSA-H60L ATA Device [CD-ROM drive]This drive must be fairly new on the market as I can't find any details for it, but new drives almost always support DL media...this one will certainly burn SL media and I don't see a problem with DL media though.

Imgburn will only read from unprotected sources, it will never be the next DVD Decrypter...you'll have to go elsewhere for that type of help.

15 minutes isn't an exceptionally long time for a burn, have you tinkered with the burn speed by accident perhaps?

We don't need a log to download, we need the log pasted here in this thread. Highlight all the text, right click and copy...then paste right here in this thread.
