Looks like I'm SOL then because everything I see on the G.Skill RAM I have is from 1.8V-2.1v...Is it the end of the world?

    New PC build

Something must be obviously wrong with the combo or I wouldn't keep getting the I'm not good with riddles... 4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM... I could google all day, but I'm afraid I wouldn't know what to do with the info when I find this needle.
  5. That will just warm it up a bit won't it Donta...won't really burn anything.

    New PC build

I ordered the Corsair 520 HX...know I'm looking at the E8400, as soon as MicroCenter gets them back in stock hopefully they will still be on sale. I've also switched my mobo focus slightly.
  7. I used this one for a while, but never got to hear it.... What's your major malfunction numbnuts? ~ From Full Metal Jacket http://www.moviesoundscentral.com/sounds/full_metal_jacket
  8. Here is a thread about your drive...apparently the 0414 firmware isn't the best. http://club.cdfreaks.com/f105/tsstcorp-ts-...h-s182m-223718/
  9. Sounds like you've got problems....
  10. We need to look at the burn log, this is only the disc information.
  11. As spinner said Imgburn has a running log of what is happening as well as the state of your PC while you are attempting a burn. If you don't see a log press Ctrl+L to open it, then retry a burn and post the entire log here in this thread.
  12. A log could help us fix errors which might prevent failures in the future.
  13. I would master SL DVD's before I dive into DL media as they are much less expensive to play with.
  14. Verifying after the burn will automatically verify the file you just burned against the file it was burned from on your PC....If in verify mode you can insert a disc and verify it against the file it was burned from if it is still on your HDD.
  15. Now how did I miss all the fun...and didn't even get a chance at a few digs either.
  16. Process of elimination would have given you the answer as well.... SL ~ http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4632 DL ~ http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1780

    New PC build

It's actually still boxed up and unused. I bought two of these on the cheap a little over a year ago to upgrade my current system, but only installed one drive and still had this one laying around. Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA/100 7200 rpm 120 GB I have a 750 GB WD SATA drive for the new PC already and thought this one would be just fine for the OS and use the big drive for everything else.
  18. Time for a new drive.
  19. Where's tha Kab when we need it?

    New PC build

I'll be ditching my old BenQ and NEC drive with the new build and the only thing I'll be using the PATA connection for will be a 120 gig HDD for my OS, everything else will be SATA...which will still be XP as I'm not upgrading to Vista yet.
