Well in the case of King Kong it looks to me like you have missed out the movie when you ripped it. Hence the v.quick burn time, we can't help you with ripping on this forum as by its nature it bypasses Copyright protection and would get the author of the program into trouble. Therefore you will need to use Google to maybe find another forum that can help. If the last burn you posted works ok then you obviously need to look at the process you used for King Kong

Oh and you may want to check out the FAQs section as well - look at the piece on slow burning and DMA issues, I know your drive is only showing supported speeds of 1x and 2x but I would expect your speed to be nearer 2x than 1x
