  1. said dbminter who was just back from a "Thomas the Tank".....
  2. For me 16x burn speeds are only reached towards the end of the burn anyways.
  3. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1778 Also, check out the Guides section The one above is for creating & burning a single layer .iso with ImgBurn
  4. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=627 Above are some disc tests that boss did with that media - they all look ok, so can you please post a copy of the full ImgBurn log when you next try to use this disc ? That might give us more of a clue.
  5. No worries - corny's guides are very good and hopefully you will be ok now
  6. Another nil points for the Sony's
  7. and maybe post back with an update ?
  8. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1778 The Guide above covers building a single layer .iso with ImgBurn, there is also one for building dual layer .iso's if you need that in the same section.
  9. TY's and Verbs are ultra reliable in my experience, as Kev said the Prodiscs are far from that
  10. Oh dear.....
  11. With quality media like Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden you might be better off letting them burn faster. I have 16x Verbs and TY's which I let burn at 12x. Quality on these is excellent.....
  12. Exactly how many Sony Coasters do you have to make first ?
  13. Don't forget to post back with an update
  14. As polo said whilst you would obviously like to see 16x burns in my expericence the DVDinfoPro scans show a lower quality burn at 16x compared to 12x. I now restrict all my burns to 12x save for testing purposes
  15. Thats a terrible scan corny - probably the worst I have seen at least I got out of Ritek G05's when I did. Funnily enough I watched a movie the other night that was on a G05 but no problems with that one. I have a fair few lying around so will take a look at some of those....
  16. Blutach - you are seriously in danger of failing to live up to your title in the forum mate - I can feel there is a lot of in the forum with you around.
  17. Mmm the boss would need to confirm if that's the right tab for your drive as I don't know anything about yours..... as you can see and already know it's not working for you tho as the booktype is still DVD+R DL. You did select DVD+R DL to change and not just DVD+R ??
  18. Well I can say that personally if you have been a and made people or want to at you it hasn't bothered me. There have been times when I have read posts that made me want to the author but I don't recall your's being any of them. That said someone will probably prove me wrong now and I will have to !!
  19. We have a "Guides" section ???
  20. Yuk ! I hate those F8 enabled logs - that said I thought amongst all the text in there that you were trying to burn a CD is that right ?
  21. Seems like a useful suggestion for those who use ImgBurn to do data backups (which I don't) However if I did YYMMDD would bug the hell out of me, but that's just cos I am used to DDMMYY

    Dvd Info Pro

I was going to suggest that e-mail the authors might be the easiest way of getting the serial (not cereal donta) number too.
  23. Thanks for letting us know
  24. Wild guess here, but with my BenQ it comes with software that supposedly allows you to restrict burn speeds on media to improve quality - does your Plex come with anything like this ?
