  1. Well I am relatively young Not as young as the boss though !! Hey Luna711 if you follow the guides I posted above you should be ok - they are step by step
  2. I prefer the cold to the heat as well ! I don't ever wear a coat and save jumpers/sweaters for the deepest depths of winter !
  3. Do it quickly - when Shamus plays with his balls all manner of things occur !
  4. Also have you installed any other apps/programs since the last time ImgBurn ran correctly ? I think Shamus probably remembers as I do occasions with sadly missed ripping program where virii (spelling?) where giving similar problems....
  5. If you get satisfactory burns I can understand that - if you don't then it's just a waste of money....
  6. Might as well play Panesar now then I reckon - give him a go against the Aussies
  7. and so naked in Kev's case
  8. I know the feeling of not wanting the PC to beat you !! I know you are past this now but I personally would not burn DL media at 6x, you see various errors in the forum here on Verb DVD+R DL media that seem to be linked to burns at the higher speeds. IMHO 2.4x and leaving the drive to get on with it work best !
  9. They have been talking about these discs for ages, I wonder if they ever will be released..... If they are I bet they will be CMC MAGS
  10. Have you had the drive long ? Can you RMA it ?
  11. Welcome to the forum Personally I have never tried to convert Video to DVD but I am 100% certain ImgBurn is not what you need for the conversion process. A Google search would probably be the best thing, I seem to recall a program called "ULead VideoStudio" that might be what you are looking for, but as I said I have never done it myself...... Once you have your video converted to dvd compliant files, vobs, bup, ifo's or iso's then ImgBurn is what you will need to actually burn it to blank DVD?R or DVD+R Dual Layer depending on the size of the project. Check out the Guides section below for help with that stage.... http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4

    HELP!!!

How can you have a "backup" copy of a film you rented ??
  13. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61 The guide above tells you how to burn an image to your discs using ImgBurn and the one below takes you through building an .iso from files on your HDD http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1779
  14. Sounds like players not liking the Verb -R discs then doesn't it ?
  15. Yeah as ken said the log looks fine now, jerky playback in your case would seem to indicate either a problem with the conversion or the original source file. I use ConvertXtoDVD and have never had that issue but you can't rule it out. Is the original DivX file ok ?
  16. Cool glad you found it - I had a feeling it was a post of blu's but suspected a Google search would retrieve it for you anyways !
  17. As long as people don't get board of the jokes sometimes I can't see the wood for the trees myself !
  18. I think Shamus probably knew where Utah was polo but was making the point for the forum in general !! Still I can see you as a "trolley dolley" air stewardess now !!
  19. Just curious, why are you doing those multiple calcs each time ? Also have you tried burning any of these discs at 2.4x rather than 4x ?
  20. Do www.meritline.com not sell to Canada ?
  21. Oh and you might be able to find a solution with a Google search, I know I have seen a post along these lines before with a drive that doesn't retain the setting. There was in that case an app that did the job for you
  22. I think corny is right - so unless you have re-started (in which case the queue won't work) it will remember the bit set change in a queue.
  23. Is your drives firmware the most current ?
  24. Thanks for the anti-tips chewy !
