  1. Note 3 is correct. Did a chart of the Pioneer 118/218 and also the older 115/215 and 116/216 series with various media for another forum. Still not sure if my drive is a "bad" copy, as a guy in Stockholm can burn Verbatim +R DL discs with much better results than I can in the various offered speeds. V = Verify error, W = Write error http://www.sweburn.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=624
  2. All four burners getting the source data from the same hard disk?
  3. If you want to have those avi files played on a regular DVD player (that doesn't support avi files) you need to convert them to DVD Movie format. This program can do it. http://www.dvdflick.net/

  5. Both supported speeds you have tried and they both failed, so your burner doesn't like that media code/brand. Try with some better discs.
  6. What program created the ISO file?
  7. You have tried to change the setting in the Settings - tab General - Don't use DirectDraw Overlays? Latest drivers installed? http://www.ma-config.com/
  8. Searching on VTS_BESTANDEN only gives references to Torrent stuff. You have the settings in the Settings tab Build page 2.
  9. TS12 is the latest version. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H552B/files.html http://club.myce.com/f105/howto-flash-firmware-samsung-dvd-writer-231217/
  10. Not possible to burn that amount of data to a single layer disc. There are programs that can shrink/split to fit single layer discs.
  11. Should be able to find the latest drivers here http://www.ma-config.com/
  12. Do you burn the avi file as it is or do you convert it do DVD Video format before you burn it?
  13. ImgBurn doesn't change the video or sound so I think you have the same problem if you play the source files.
  14. Old logs: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs Edit: Mrs Slow was here.
  15. Can you post a log of that burn? Old logs: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
  16. Perhaps there is a setting in your player that enables the auto play or not.
  17. Someone found the hidden setting 'Use Nero as burning engine'. Seriously. Can you post a screen shot of that message?
  18. I meant you to do the clearing right now, to get rid of old values.
  19. Added the stuff of our tests in the Settings guide. That's why I "remembered" it. Normally my memory is in worse shape than most people.
  20. Works here. http://www.demonoid.se/
  21. XP SP2 or lower defaults to Device Class, unless KB932716 is installed.
  22. Why I don't like Lite-Ons for burning +R media. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860
  23. Could try this Settings -> tab Build page 2 -> Clear MRU files Might be that Windows is searching for a folder that no longer exists on a drive and then hangs. You could try to wait 3-4 minutes and see if Windows releases the "hanging" before you restart the computer. Is it in the Standard or Advanced input window you get the issue?
  24. By default DL media is automatically book typed, so you shouldn't need to change any default settings. The burned copy is book typed to DVD-ROM.
  25. Only 4x and 6x possible. The warning about SPTD only affects slow verify speeds.
