  1. From what I can understand it's based on the models 116/216, so it should be a nice drive. Another option is to get a regular SATA/IDE and put it in an external USB case.
  2. Aha, the price I saw was around 100 $.
  3. If you have another reader/computer - tried to read it in that drive?

    major issue

    ImgBurn doesn't support multisessions.
  5. Matsushita drives seems to be very picky about media. Verbatim should work. Only way to know for sure is to either buy the spindle and do some burns or Google the combination of your model of burner and the media code on those discs, to see if others have posted a lot of error reports about that combination.
  6. That is if you want to do a compilation of raw files from a disk. If you already have your iso (bootable) just use the option you suggested.
  7. Looks a bit overpriced if you don't need the Qflix function.
  8. I get the feeling that your burn was not a good one and now when you try to read it back it can't be read = cyclic redundancy check" Did you use the verify option when you burned the disc?
  9. Optiarc 720x (IDE) models should also work with these discs. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=9447
  10. If your computer has SATA connectors, I would go for an Optiarc 724x model.
  11. It looks as you only add two empty folders.
  12. You need to use a reauthor program first and make a new compilation of the stuff you want to include in the final DVD. ImgBurn can't do this. Use a program such as DVD Shrink or VobBlanker to blank out the video part's you don't want.
  13. You need to include all the files in the VIDEO_TS folder in the build window in ImgBurn. Except the FixVTSBackup folder. The VIDEO_TS.BUP is just a backup of the original VIDEO_TS.IFO file. Both needs to be there.
  14. The images that shows FixVTS failed, did you use the folder in the first image as source?
  15. So do you refuse to help people who ask about their PS3 and 360 games? If it involves removing protections yes as this is a burning forum.
  16. On the other hand, if the drive is stuck in PIO mode and not DMA mode the CPU will be involved more. By looking at your posted log, DMA is enabled. I think more that your issue is "cheap" discs that can vary in quality in the same spindle/package. A bit of hit and miss.
  17. According to the movie industry, even that is very illegal.
  18. ImgBurn should work nicely.
  19. A disaster... The red after the layer break indicates that you console have a very hard time reading the disc and probably fails to read it. Normally Lite-Ons burns best with DL media with low burning speeds, so I doubt the 6x and 8x will give you any better results. I think your burner is to old to support new media codes like the one you currently use. This is how a nice burn looks.
  20. Yes, It's a Lite-On so it should work.
  21. Download the program from www.dvdinfopro.com Start the program and select 'Scan' Select 4x as the speed Also select Block for the two options PIE and PIF, like this: Then press Start and let it run. When it's done you can press the Snapshot/Camera button and get a .png file that you can post here.
  22. It was a fresh disc?
  23. If that also fails, then it might be worth a try with a cleaning disc.
  24. Tried some other speeds like 4x and 6x?
  25. You need to split the .iso file first if you want to attach more files than just the current .iso file. Use http://www.7-zip.org/ to split it and then build mode to create a new .iso or burn them directly to a disc.
