  5. well I returned settings to default in imgburn and same for clonecd with autoinsert/autoplay rebooted and put my tyg02 back in my benq 1620 did a build and set output to device, checked test mode and let her rip Imgburn did the test, cycled tray and then the drive just kept blinking, after a couple of minutes it stopped, imgburn had no log and no program would see the empty disk, after cycling tray manually the drive light would blink forever. After removing disk and a cold restart(shut down/boot) the drive and disk would work??????????????????????? 6. I think he was pulling my leg, that's ok noobs should use verify till they get the bugs out and the log shows bitsetting then
  7. well I noticed that verify does list the booktype so I guess that's good enough in troubleshooting a beginner's log I still can't figure that one out, I will return the settings made with clonecd and imgburn to default and retest with the lone tyg02 blank I have left
  8. Since I don't work with iso's very much , the build mode really made the program much more useful, however this guide needs to be expanded to include output > device(build on the fly?) http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1778 or a more detailed single layer guide like the dual layer guide it's hard to switch someone over from programs that ask you what you want to burn and then you just add files Is booktyping included in the burn log of the beta? Is there a conflict when using the test feature and having disable media change notification enabled and/or having autoinsert notification disabled? It completely locked up my benq 1620 and imgburn after cycling tray.
  9. my ballistix pc4000 cas 2.5 only runs stable at 260/520 with command rate 1, turning off command rate 1 allows it to go higher course some motherboards and memory controllers are pickier than others none of my other premium ram would overclock worth a damn
  10. using 2.3.2 I just doublechecked my LG 4163 running the same firmware, did the setting for dvd+r to dvd-rom manually, burned a disk it showed as dvd-rom after burning I rebooted and then went back in and the setting was still there saw no evidence of autobooktyping, even for dvd+r dl
  11. here's one donta, http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPO-MSI-MSI-S775...ower-Up-Edition
  12. after manufacturers realized that tyg02's were about as good as it would ever get with blank media they started writting overspeeding into their firmware his nec original also plans for the future
  13. is bios set to auto for that drive also? you aren't trying to mix cable select with master/slave with the jumpers? drives if jumpered master/slave must have master at end of cable

the larger l2 is wasted on the amd64's as the onboard memory controller is so damn fast the one thing to know is the amd64's need premium ram to keep up with the cpu's design
