I open the tray and power down computer, then blow it out
compressed air
-
afaik, ripit4me is just an exe
doesn't even write to the registry, entry in prefetch, just remembering settings
my nec 3550 got a little lint in it(cat fuzz?) saw all burned dvd's as
dvd-rw's, still burned blanks ok. blowing it out fixed?
go figure
-
if those are blanks then clean the drive

Is anybody trying it? Or understand the addressing problem?

I think the burn would verify
you can see it didnt
not shamus's

I think the burn would verify
first one i did verify on and it was okay.as he said
otsa standards require otsa approved testing equipment
-
shamus,
how does the verify function show much about the burn?
I have gotten my nec 3550 to work well as a secondary scanner,
of course I prefer my benq 1650, you can't make any judgement on a burn and weigh in the pie totals when scanning with the nec as it reports
pie in an exaggerated manner. The drives are very inconsistent from one to another, you have to run scans at 4x, 8x and 12x and find the best speed for each individual drive. The only meaningful thing I got from his graph was the pif total of 265 which seems low, a transfer rate graph would be just as informative, maybe more so.(verify with graph)
the best thing would be to flash that drive to dee's 1Y6 and use bitsetting for dvd+r media for compatibility
-
the buffalo firmwares bitsett dvd+r's by default
since they are the japanese distributor for pioneer, doesn't make much sense
-
-
Do you reckon it were the media that made the burn fail?
i see you have a Pioneer DVR-111 what do you think of them?
and verbatim or taiyo yuden discs you say.. what do i look for you with the codes such as "cmc"? sorry lol its just i have always had good burns with cmc discs so never considered changing media
i like my pioneer, i just wish it would bitset +r to rom
think buffalo

do they lower the flags to half mast downunder?

He never saw the stingray. He swam over and in a millions to one shot, it struck him in the chest.
I find that hard to believe, not sure i would believe eye witness accounts either, but camera footage maybe.
Rays usually mind their own business

I thought distiller was the key feature of acrobat
I have stuck with version 5, does more than I care to do or know

won't work well at all, maybe with a raid stripe, works fine with 2 hard drives burning seperate images to 2 dvd burners
