  1. all the benq 1650's here in the states have come with B firmware,

it would seem Benq abandoned the earlier G distribution oem in europe and with previous models like the 1640/1620

I have been using BCFC since it first came out off the chinese site,

    very happy with it.

  2. So my big question could new nforce ide drivers do this?
roll back your ide drivers till you are using windows default

as i had recently done a firmware upgrade

and that's how you hose your firmware

    flash again in safe mode

  3. my 92$(was 145) amd64 3000 @ 2500 gives any single core P4 a run for it's money at far less power and heat in video encoding.

    Temperatures:

    Motherboard 35 ?C (95 ?F)

    CPU 37 ?C (99 ?F)

wait a few weeks for the X2's to drop or get an 820 intel dual core

the new intel core duo are gonna turn the apple cart over, apple may have the fastest desktop once again

  4. if you can find the benq 1655 on sale, I would go for that one.

I got a good 1650, some others didn't seem to get as good a one?

You should already have one of the best burners with the pioneer,

now you just need a reliable scanner, the nec's would be a waste.

  5. that should be a very good match up, oily looks like you are ready to do some serious burning

for that price on blanks, you might want to waste one or two on discovery mode?

  6. for an older burner and verbatim disks, that pif total of 80 is excellent

gotta love the cdfreaks bargain basement

course you can't trust pioneer scans

  7. I had jmet extract killaspi and host it for me so as not to confuse the

person being helped. Glad to know it's not an issue with imgburn,

I suspected as much, that's OK gear/sonic can hose that spti bus

well enough. Must be the older versions tho.

I really enjoyed a thread over at cdfreaks from a few years ago on these issues, trying to get an update on it. Thanks LuK!
