  1. you got a dvd player you could try the cd in as well and can you try adding making your own .cue for some mp3 files and make audio cd from those and try
  2. what player ? also is the RW disc closed/ finalised etc
  3. And this expert knows. Ask for a refund.
  4. Test mode yes, try writing something to the disc instead of pretending to
  5. Ditch your Sony dvd player and get a cheap no name one that plays PAL & NTSC and make sure you get TV capable of same
  6. Take it up with M$ or as suggested if the first person you ask cannot be bothered search google .
  7. check your usb cable and port, change port to one on back of motherboard. Get windows to sort out device manager usb entries by removing EHCI check google for usb errors and how to fix em.
  8. pio=pioneer 1.29 is latest firmware for your drive you should update http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/download.jsp?d...11D_FW129EU.EXE close tray with no disc in and do not stop or reboot or pull power until finished
  9. on the back of drive there is a little jumper it might already be on master but if not move it to there. might also be a newer firmware for your drive
  10. Try different usb port then get a different usb external/converter, set pio to master and check short/ide cable.
  11. you sure burnat is not converting them to audio
  12. how many files are you adding when trying
  13. Of course you can burn folders .. Whether you hifi sees folders is another matter If your burning DATA cd's which you are and you cannot see folders or files then your computer is messed up
  14. oh well I rep for that and not original post Lol Sorry but it's so easy my dog can do it. you have file.mp3 file1.mp3 file2.mp3 you start or switch ImgBurn to build mode add those files select device if your wanting to burn it straight away without creating ISO.
  15. What's easier than changing to quality media
  16. Get audio grabber it's free and will convert your cds to mp3. http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ the only download link that works is http://netvision.tucows.com/files/agsetup.exe
  17. It is corrupted you mis read me. Just so its clear what I am saying is a disc that fails to verify is a BAD disc and should be treat as a failure. If the data on that disc is IMPORTANT it needs to be redone so that you have a perfect backup. If its just mp3 and data you can live without then accept that 1 or more files may(will) fail to read back on any given device. Also I justed looked at your log file MBI media is poor and RW media is hit n miss at the best of times even more so when they have been left lying around out of the case etc. Just buy a new 5 pack they are cheap enough.
  18. If the data is important to you, then your backup is not complete, on a failed verification process. If they are just some mp3's and files you can live without then OK but you have to decide whats acceptable for you to lose. Failed to read sector xxxx will result in 1 maybe 2, 3, 4, X amount of files who knows how many files may not be readable. If its important then use good quality write once.
  19. At least it is free and cost you nothing, your entitled to your opinion. I don't agree with you as its one of the best programs on the net IMO. It burns.
  20. Here redmonke255 download gspot and open your so called wmv in gspot and it will say mpeg2. Whoever the fk told you to do things like this is a moron and if that was yourself then thats even worse. Once you have your movie to ISO or video_ts folders load it up into one of the many video convertors and you can then encode it to wmv. mp4 avi divx xvid whatever you want. Btw update your avg and you do not do that by renaming the shortcut
  21. lol gimme some of what your smoking. you can make em like that all day long but they will not work the way you think and you proved that by saying you have a problem. I can rip them to any format I want using file extensions, It's not encoding it to that extension run the ouputt-ed file thru gspot
