  5. Sounds like one of your ide devices is hanging, try removing any disc you have in any drive. If your using an external usb or firewire device power it off . maybe worth while scanning for spyware or virus whilst your at it. Check all power cables and ide cables as well. Which operating system are you using

    ok pull power cable out of psu, take cmos battery out and look for cmos clear jumper pins on your mobo and swap the jumper over to short out pins 2-3 for a few seconds (no more than 15) secs, then move jumper back over replace battery and see what happens.
  8. It,s because you have CAPS LOCK ON PS ImgBurn will not copy protected shop bought dvd's
  9. Imgburn may be supporting writing of audio next release(I think). Reference to Itunes and ImgBurn though, not sure I understand what you mean exactly. The 2 are totally different. Imgburn is a writing/imaging tool-etc.
  10. If you mobo has a boot option at post eg f8 or f11 press that, then choose first dvd/rom etc.

    change cmos battery see if that helps if you have 2 sticks of ram in there take 1 out, swap them over, try diff memory if you have it. stick a diff keyboard on there to rule that out for not letting you get to bios.
  12. have you scanned C: for file system errors (not using hd manufacturer's tools) just the normal windows xp one
  13. you can only verify the image you have is a working image, then burn again to same media in same drive or maybe if you have another writer try in that, as it should have worked providing the image is not corrupt and the verb you wrote to was not just a duff one.

  15. try cleaning the disc and then try it in another reader. search google on Isopuzzle as well

  17. you should uninstall the intel ata storage and try again.
  18. have you got incd installed or have you got a tick in enable cd recording on this drive on the properties page of your writer. or your system use Intel Ultra-ATA Storage Driver
