  1. ThreeSixty; Just as a backup to what blu posted; please do not give this advice out anymore. Read the changelogs and understand that we do not support previous versions. All new version software is extensively checked and hundreds of burns are made before the Boss releases a new version. Before we can solve a problem they have to upgrade to the newest version and your advice just wastes time for all of us.
  2. Your drive is still reading the speeds wrongly, there is no 3x available on these discs. I Your drive couldn't read the disc after it burned it and you closed the program. So it wasn't verified...however that indicates that there is a problem maybe with the drive and not the media. It doesn't seem that reverting to an earlier version helped with your problem, it's more like just plain dumb luck that your burn works in the game machine at all. Have you made any others since this one that work?
  3. So...you're not willing to make a contribution for this great piece of software without the author doing something that he's already said he has no interest in doing?
  4. Bad transcoding on crappy media created by a drive without the newest firmware or a dirty burning lens will cause the disc to skip/ freeze/malfunction.
  5. Follow mmalves and Toads advice and let us see the log, describing it just isn't the same somehow...
  6. OK...after you install the new drive, how about posting a log if you still have a problem
  7. Read me. Then read this. You could have found both explanations by using the search process and/or by reading the FAQ. That's why they are there. Edit...too slow again...
  8. Hi and welcome Dinofly; Start your own thread and post a copy of the failed log please.
  9. Clean your disc as your drive can't read it. If it's scratched and generally scruffed up, polish it with liquid car wax until the disc looks good. Your media is really crappy and the drive may not be able to read it back. Check your firmware for your drive.
  10. I don't know if it's possible or not, that would be up to the Boss, however Windo$e incorrectly reports the DMA status most of the time ( a known bug ) , so a query as to the status would probably be wrong also.
  11. Please post a complete logfile from the unsucessful burn.
  12. You can find it under ... Help>ImgBurn Logs mmalves...I thought you knew that........
  13. Why are you in test mode? No it is not, you have Which usually keeps the burn from failing due to poor data flow. Try some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs. Don't shorten the ImgBurn logfile that we need, post the entire thing. Check your firmware. Check your computer cable to the drive, should be 80 wire.
  14. 1. Try cleaning your drive with a cd/dvd cleaner disc. 2. Look at the disc for obvious scratches and imperfections. Your drive is not reading the disc for whatever reason.
  15. Never claimed to. I only know what makes shit copies that do not work and offer whatever advice I can to try to help. We've been doing this a long time and have worked with literally tens of thousands of users who have problems. But I don't work with smart-asses more than once. Good luck with your problem.
