Hi and welcome o the forum dr_ml422; Nope, not that I know of. Does it close down period because of anything in the new version? Nope, not that I know of again. Post a copy of the failed log attempts please.
-
Hi and welcome magicscreen; 1) No...ImgBurn does not defeat any copy protection. 2) AnyDvd interferes with the write strategy of ImgBurn and will cause failures, which is why the Boss put the warning into the program in the first place. 3) ImgBurn will burn a copy of your .iso regardless of how it's created though. 4) Just so you are aware we do not discuss ripping on this forum.

Retry Failed - Reason: Command Sequence Error
spinningwheel replied to ednb's topic in ImgBurn Support
They are made by Nexxtech out of Hong Kong.... ...not Verbatim. -
Glad you got whatever it was straightened out neim81094...

Hi and welcome bluewolf141991, 1) Bad choice of media, not very reliable and generally poor quality. 2) Post a copy of the logfile created by ImgBurn for this burn.
-
Wayne, your error is a simple I/O reported by your drive and then by ImgBurn to you. I/O errors are caused by your firmware/drive/media not playing well together...so...to start with: 1) Check for a firmware update. 2) Get rid of your CMC discs and get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore) 3) Run a cleaning disc on your drive. 4) Do not double post.

ImgBurn will burn any .iso you feed to it, but, the question is, how is the wii supposed to deal with a compressed file within the .iso? I would suggest that you do a little bit of Google searching and you'll find out what the mistake in your process is.
-
Hey Doc, please don't double post. Your post in suggestions was the right way to do it.
-
Not really. Topic closed.

Not quite. Lookey ...Here!
-
It's not arrogance, it's just simply that the subject has been proposed before and the Boss has answered before. If you had used the search function, as all boards including this one suggest, you would have found his answer and then we would not be having this discussion. On more boards than not, you wouldn't have been given the time it takes to answer a previously answered question...and then you may have posted a complaint about no one answering your query....sometimes we just can't please users that want instant satisfaction/reaction without doing the forum the courtesy of looking for the answer themselves.

Failing verification on Verbatim DVD+R DL 8x
spinningwheel replied to HypnoToad's topic in ImgBurn Support
Glad you sorted it out Toad, 8X media is a bit dodgy now and then. -
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I guess...Here's mine
-
Yes, when you install it the program asks if you want a desktop icon or not, simply untick the checkbox next time you install it.
-
Asked by a few users over the past, including this thread..2 to be exact...and answered more than enough. If you want a program to do what you want when it opens....design it. I believe the Boss is happy with the way HIS program opens.

improved buffering for multiple simutaneous burns
spinningwheel replied to cutandpaste's topic in ImgBurn Suggestions
You are of course free to ask anything, but, since the Boss already checked the threads and didn't answer...apparently his answer above still stands. -
Please....pay attention to the bit at the top and post a log.

Asked and answered by the Boss.... HERE. Edit.....Rats...too slow again....lmao. -
jkkkjmommy, hi and welcome; Can't you just open both ImgBurn and the folder with the pix and drag-and drop the pix into the build screen.? I believe that is how I backed up all my pix a few months ago, maybe I'm missing something here. Have you read this Guide? You build a .cue file for music and an .iso file for video, not data, which is all a picture is to the machine. Program log is located at Help>ImgBurn Logs. You can simply hilight, copy and paste the log here.

Unless your player can play .avi files.

Your drive is shot, invest in a new one. I've had several go South slowly and they usually begin by clicking/grinding away at their internals.
-
marylou; We've gone out of the realm of ImgBurn here and into an area better served if you do a query on Google. Barring that, post your question in the CHAT section since it obviously does not deal with an ImgBurn support problem.
-
For a quick solution, buy an external case and put the full sized drive you want into it. Then you can still use the internal to make cd's and single layer dvd's if it holds up.
-
If the disc is protected by some type of copyright protection ImgBurn will not read/rip/break it. If it's not, then your copy is bad, check for scratches and crap on the disc. What?
-
As far as I can tell, you have the latest firmware, so try to clean the drive with a cleaning cd and maybe try a different speed to burn with. Also update to 2.5.0.0 before doing anything else.
