Look Here.
This is the exact same thing!! I just wasted another CD!! Do you understand what I want???
I know how to make the CD bootable. I want to be able to add files to it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Follow what mmalves said. I directed you to the guide that teaches you how to add files. FFS...If you want to add files after your original burn...ImgBurn will not do it...period

Yea
Boss
...but he's still an asshole!!

We do not support previous editions of the program. The reason for updates is that problems reported here are fixed. By using a legacy edition we would be comparing apples to oranges and that's something we do not do. Reinstall 2.4.4.0 and show us a log from that.

I'm afraid its been a long day and I'm about to turn in, someone will be around shortly that can help.

How about simply posting a log and save us from using our crystal ball once again?

Where are your Verbs made, it should be on the packaging.

ImgBurn does not do multi-session burning. If you cannot add the files you want before you start the burn, it won't be done afterwards.

Why did you not verify the burn?

Use DVD Shrink in re-author mode or something like that
I do use DVD Shrink. If I find the re-author mode, what do I do then, or what will I see? I don't know much about Shrink except that I do "open files" and "backup". Thanks again for any help.
This is not the DVDShrink support forum, and your question is not about ImgBurn, sorry. But you can find the answers to that and many other questions about Shrink by simply using Google to look for them.

In fact I consider a verification option a must for every self-respecting burning program.

Nero has this feature, and it is absolutely fabulous
Then why bother to use anything else if it's so ...fabulous?

Glad we could be of assistance, happy burning and come back and check in once in a while.

I'm actually using TDK discs but maybe it amounts to the same thing
Yes it does
Your TDK are simply rebadged Ritek's as you can see in this line from your log:
Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66Or this one:
I 14:29:38 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x)As the
Boss
stated above...
Try burning at the remaining supported write speeds (6x and 8x). If they fail in a similar way, this applies: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000I just go right for the media change myself, owing to the fact that your Riteks may fail you at any time in the future where the Verbs and TY's have a very strong track record.

Hello Everyone
I am having problems with a dvd writer it will burn dvd data files but then it can't read what it has burned but i can put it in another drive and it reads it can anyone give me an idea what is going on?
FFS...Did you even bother to read the Forum Tips bit above that explains what to do/include when you post a topic?

Your drive does not like or recognize the media you're trying to burn to. I believe you're using Ritek, which was exceptional media about 5 years ago and now is crap. Get some Verbatim Data Life Plus (made in Singapore) or Taiyo Yuden discs and try again.

I cannot accept the explanation written by LIGHTNING UK!
You gotta be shittin' me

Race Guy;
Start your own thread since your problem is not exactly as the one experienced by meimeiriver.

FloRidah... .Look at time stamp 00:24:24 Max secrets statement on your screenshot. You have the rootkit/malware infection. I'm happy that eSKro may have found a workaround to the problem, but you still need to clean your system as advised or else the possibility exists that someone else will be running your system from time to time.

ok, i tried with memorex dvd+r dl
Didn't quite follow the directions that the Boss gave you then...did you?
Repeat after me...Memorex are crap,,,Memorex are crap...Verbatims from Singapore are good...Memorex is crap...
Get the idea?
