Tools -> Settings -> Registry tab, untick the file extension(s) you don't want associated with ImgBurn and click OK. Then close the program.

You'll need to convert your video(s) using DVD Flick, DVDStyler or ConvertXtoDVD, all of them which generate the DVD-Video structure that you can burn with ImgBurn and will play on any DVD player.

If it isn't an ISO image or a DVD-Video structure (VIDEO_TS folder with IFO/VOB/BUP files) then you need to convert your video(s) first using something like DVD Flick, DVDStyler or ConvertXtoDVD before burning your disc.

The burner should automatically booktype DVD+R DL media to DVD-ROM. If it isn't doing this (ImgBurn shows the booktype in the Log just before verifying starts) then it isn't burning the disc properly. That's the whole problem indeed, as you've said yourself the other burner works fine.

Your burner doesn't like the media you're using. Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc from the drive and close the tray then run the firmware updater) and try burning again. You could also try burning at 8x.

As LUK said above, it burned and verified fine, which means ImgBurn did its job. The problem could be with your disc image or your console, both of which are out of the scope of this forum.

Your burner doesn't support the media you're using. You could try finding the 2.4x rated Verbatim blanks or you could try burning with another burner.

An ISO image is meant to be burned on one disc, and yours fits on a double-layer DVD just fine.

You could try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. If that doesn't help then it's time to invest in a new burner, which is pretty cheap these days.

Try burning at 8x or 12x.

Try burning at 6x or 8x.

Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL blanks probably didn't exist at the time that burner was sold, so it doesn't know how to burn those blanks, and the generic 2.4x write strategy doesn't work either. Your system seems fairly recent so I'll assume it has at least one SATA port available, so the best burner you can get is a new Optiarc (AD-7240S / AD-7260S or newer will be fine).

It looks like your burner doesn't support the 8x Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks (notice that it shows only 2.4x as available write speed). Your only chance would be with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks, which are hard to find. Alternatively, a new burner is very cheap these days. By the way, update your ImgBurn.

Try burning at 8x or 12x, or at least limit it to 16x if you absolutely need the fastest speed.

Try burning at 4x or 6x. You could also try with better quality media, such as Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden (Victor JVC) or Sony blanks.
