  1. Go to the Options tab of the Build mode, click Reset Settings, confirm and try again.
  2. Use the 'Write files/folders to disc' options, which is a shortcut to the Build mode.
  3. You can change the I/O interface in Tools -> Settings -> I/O tab. If you feel like playing around, you could try changing SPTI - Device Enumeration Method (in the same above mentioned tab) to Device Class or Drive Letter to see if it works with the default SPTI interface.
  4. Then your ISO image isn't bootable. You can make a bootable disc by following this guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=11194 Hint: you can extract the contents of the ISO image with 7-Zip / WinRAR / WinZip / UltraISO / MagicISO / PowerISO / IsoBuster / many other programs, in case you haven't a Daemon Tools / Alcohol 52 % / Virtual CloneDrive / DVDFab Virtual Drive / etc virtual drive software installed on your system.
  5. Load the ISO image in ImgBurn's Write mode and look at the file system field: does it say bootable? If it does then the disc you burned from that ISO image is bootable and you need to check your system BIOS if it's configured to boot from CD/DVD drive before HDD.

  7. Even though we only support ImgBurn here, your problem is pretty obvious: Your burner doesn't support the media you're using. Try with Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden / JVC media, or anything that doesn't use the MBI dye, and it should work.
  8. 32 already?! I'm feeling older by proxy
  9. Your storage drivers are messing up when ImgBurn is communicating with the burner: notice the device removal message and the burner is gone from the list of drives.
  10. Update your chipset/storage controller drivers (this website might help).
  11. Am I too late for the party?! spinner
  12. That is a different problem than yours.
  13. I've never had that problem myself, but I'm sure if you search with Google you can find some answers, probably in your own language too
  14. Look for the latest drivers for your chipset/storage controllers (this website might help). After updating the drivers (and rebooting), you could update your burner's firmware. You should also enable/force Windows Update as SP1 for Win7 has been out for a while now.
  15. ImgBurn uses standard Windows open file dialog, so some extension you have installed on your system is messing up that function. One workaround is to double click on the ISO image in Windows Explorer/My Computer and that will open ImgBurn with that image loaded.
  16. Even though you posted a Nero burn log when we clearly support ImgBurn here, we'll be nice enough to help you First of all, look for the latest chipset/storage drivers for your system (this website might help). After you've done that (and rebooted), update your burner's firmware to the latest version (also reboot after updating). Then try burning again with ImgBurn, and if it still doesn't work, then post ImgBurn's log of the failed burn.
  17. It has completed OK. Next time try burning at 6x or 8x.
  18. Reading errors that early on a CD disc is probably due to copy protection, not dirt/scratches.
  19. Your burner doesn't support burning those Sony mini-DVDs, or the discs you have are defective. Try with other burners if you can. And put the program's settings back to their default values (notice the Defaults button in the Settings dialog).
  20. If it burns and verifies fine then it's out of ImgBurn's hands. Have you looked if your player doesn't need it in a special format?
  21. Look for the latest drivers for your chipset/storage controllers (this website might help).
  22. Try burning at 8x or 12x. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. If none of that works, then try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden (JVC Victor) blanks, or you might need to get a new burner.
  23. See the Search boxes at the top of the page? Please use them, as this has been asked and answered many times before.
  24. That disc was damaged in the failed burn. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. You could also try burning at 4x. If none of that works then you'll need to get a new burner.
