  1. Try updating your chipset/storage drivers (use SIW to identify them). If your system uses Intel chipset then install this (reboot if asked) and this (also reboot if asked).
  2. Try that burner on another computer. You could also try burning with your Optiarc burner, after updating its firmware of course.

  4. ImgBurn doesn't support multisession.
  5. The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination, so that's the three things you can change in order to get a better burn. Also, as the link above says, slim burners are rubbish, so your chance of a good burn on cheap media is also slim.
  6. I guess you can use DVD Shrink in Re-Author mode to do what you want.

  8. The problem could be the controller the drive is attached to (e.g. optical drives don't play nice with controllers in RAID mode) or its drivers are not present/outdated. Try using SIW to identify your controller and look for the latest drivers for it.
  9. Look for the latest drivers for your system's chipset/storage controllers (SIW or this website might help).
  10. It's already supported in Read/Write modes. If you meant Build mode then I don't think it'll ever get added, as it only applies to the (dying) CD media standard.
  11. If the drive can't initiliase/recognise blank media then there's nothing the software can do about it.
  12. Time for a new burner then.
  13. Try the DMA fix as per the 2nd post from the FAQ thread.
  14. Your blanks are crap. Try burning at 6x or 4x to see if they work that way but you could really do with high quality blanks like Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden.
  15. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. If that doesn't help then you should get a new burner.
  16. If you use good quality media that burner should work just fine.
  17. Post the log as per instructions in the pink banner at the top of the page.

    Write to HD

Use 7-Zip / WinRAR / similar software to extract your folders and files from that ISO image.
  20. We need the log from when you burned the disc, should be further down.
  21. Try burning at 12x or 8x with a brand new blank disc.
  22. You should update ImgBurn too.
  23. Look for the latest chipset/storage drivers for your system (SIW or this website might help).
