  1. Not to mention that you don't need to quick erase DVD+RW media: you can just overwrite it.
  2. Not to mention that you don't have a DVD burner: your drive is just a CD burner and DVD reader, also known as a combo drive.
  3. Untick the Verify option before burning and it'll stay like that. As for the Eject option, it's in Tools -> Settings -> Device tab -> Eject Tray After... -> Write.
  4. Help -> About ImgBurn in the program.
  5. That's because those discs are protected and ImgBurn can't read protected discs.
  6. We need to see the log from that session, or at least the exact error message you're seeing. What LUK said below this post also works
  7. Re-install ImgBurn (if asked about keeping the current settings answer Yes) and you should get the desktop and programs menu icons back. As for the Samsung booktype issue, try doing it with a DVD+R / DVD+RW / DVD+R DL disc in the drive. By the way, ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media to DVD-ROM on Samsung burners, provided that the burner supports doing it of course.
  8. That burner doesn't recognise/support the media you're using. Perhaps you could put your newer burner in the older computer? Or you could try finding older 8x rated media?
  9. The log of that operation could be useful.

  11. If it only happens when reading discs the it's due to riplock.
  12. You should also update your burner's firmware.
  13. First thing I'd try is look for the latest drivers for your system's chipset/storage controller(s). Use SIW to identify them if you're unsure.
  14. Things haven't changed, they're not supported.
  15. Tools -> Settings -> General tab -> page 2 -> Log File -> Add Header.
  16. Try burning at 6x or 4x. You could also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc.
  17. It's probably due to padding. If you could post a screenshot of the select layerbreak window then we would know for sure.
  18. Look for the latest drivers for your system's chipset/SATA controllers (hint: use SIW to identify them). After you do that you should also update your burner's firmware.

  20. Your burner doesn't support the RITEK-S04-66 media so you'll have to try other media and find one that works for you. If you can find Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL media they should work fine. Alternatively you could try with another burner, preferably not a slimline one.
  21. Update ImgBurn. Try burning at 6x or 4x. You could also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it. If none of that helps then you'll need to try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks, or with another burner (slimline burners are rubbish in general). On another note, you should install Service Pack 2 on your Vista OS.
  22. Also try using the ASPI interface (Tools -> Settings -> I/O tab).
  23. Does super create a proper DVD-Video structure? i.e. VIDEO_TS folder with IFO/BUP/VOB files inside. If it does then you'll need to find out how to add all 6 AVI files to the same DVD. If it doesn't then you'll need to do what ianymaty said above.
  24. Sounds like you have some antivirus program or something that's choking with the UPX compression used by ImgBurn. Try using this ImgBurn without UPX (when asked to keep your current settings answer Yes) to see if it works normal.
  25. You want it for a problem that doesn't happen on your operating system?
