  1. Your current firmware is SB00 so you should update to SB02 (ID01 is for people who have ID00 on their burners).
  2. Drag and drop your files/folders into ImgBurn from a My Computer/Windows Explorer window and it should work. Alternatively you could use the Advanced Input mode (notice the Input menu in ImgBurn's main window).
  3. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 As for the unable to lock for exclusive access problem, look here -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&view=findpost&p=975
  4. If you get read errors when copying the original disc then it could be copy protection used by the manufacturer. If you get read errors when copying a burned disc then it could be low quality media, a bad burn or a picky reader drive.
  5. In My Computer/Windows Explorer, right-click on your burner's drive letter, go to Properties then AutoPlay tab: in there you can set what Windows should do when each type of disc is detected. As for VLC, in order to correctly play a DVD you should use the File -> Open Disc feature.
  6. The CUE file itself is just text so you can open and edit it with Notepad
  7. Codec packs are more trouble than they're worth: if you need a certain codec install just that one and from a reputable source. Doing it this way you'll never have conflicts like that.
  8. ImgBurn burns as is, i.e. it doesn't change anything.
  9. Crappy quality media, what did you expect?
  10. Good work The highlighted filters are useless in this case and they could be the source of your problem. Have you installed any codec pack? If so then uninstall all of them, they're evil and only cause problems.
  11. Maybe if you didn't give up on the first page of Google results you'd find the older threads where we would suggest trying another USB 2.0 certified cable, trying other USB ports, checking the external power supply, trying the ASPI interface, among several other suggestions you could try.

  13. Update both your LG burners' firmwares and try again: http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LP20/files.html http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4163B/files.html If it still says "disc is empty" then please switch to Write mode and copy/paste here all the media information text shown in ImgBurn's main window.
  14. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. You should also try burning at 6x or 8x (you tried only 4x and 10x so far).
  15. English: For DVD it's usually ISO9660 + UDF 1.02 and BluRay uses only UDF 2.50 or 2.60. Depending on the content you add to ImgBurn's Build mode it'll suggest to you those modifications so you don't need to worry about it.
  16. You haven't changed any ImgBurn's settings, have you? Try reinstalling DVD Shrink to see if it helps.
  17. Open ImgBurn, press F6 (it should say "program debug mode enabled" in the Log window), go to Tools -> Create CUE File, add your audio file(s) and wait for them to be processed. When it has finished, close the Create CUE File window (don't need to save) then go to the Log window and copy/paste its contents here.
  18. Open ImgBurn, switch to Verify mode, select the same image you used when burning, choose one of your LG burners from the list of drives, insert that burned disc in that drive and click the Verify button. Then post the log of the operation.

  20. If the drive can't read the discs and cleaning doesn't help then you'll need to use another drive to copy those discs.
  21. Try verifying the disc with your other drives and post the log for us to look at.
  22. Update your burner's firmware and try again. If it doesn't work at first then you might want to try burning at 6x or 8x.
  23. Have you installed these drivers?
  24. You didn't press F6 before adding the files to the CUE creator
