  1. Yeah, it's most likely bad media. Have you read this? -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 For your convenience, the link to the latest firmware for your burner is here. If this doesn't help then please post the log of the burn failure.
  2. That's usually caused by bad/old drivers or misconfigured SATA controller. Have you looked for the most recent chipset/storage drivers for your system? How is your SATA controller configured in the BIOS?
  3. ImgBurn doesn't extract anything so something is wrong there. Can you point us to the KB number? Or show a screenshot of the folder that contains the update? As for the Log you can select the lines in the Log window (or use Edit -> Select All) then paste here as text. Logs from previous sessions can be found in a shortcut available in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  4. How about actually reading what was posted in your previous threads about the same problem? http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=15304 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=15306

  6. Try burning at 16x instead of MAX. Also notice that you may get a better burn quality at 8x or 12x, if you can spare the extra time it takes to burn.
  7. It's impressive how people always ignore the big bold "Important:" bit in that post

There's a shortcut to the Graphs folder in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  10. If it's a single file then you'll have to split it in 700MB parts in order to fit CD media.
  11. ImgBurn is and always has been freeware. Do I need to tell you that you've been scammed by that site? Try getting a refund with whoever processed your payment.

  15. Try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or manually if you know how to do it. You could also use better media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  16. I'd definitely go for an Optiarc AD-7240S burner. If you can't find that specific model then the AD-5240S / AD-7241S / AD-7243S models are just as good.
  17. You were scammed and should try getting your money back with whoever processed your payment. As Cynthia said, ImgBurn is and has always been freeware.
  18. Parallel ATA is being phased out and the current options (e.g. Samsung SH-S222x, LG GH22NP20, Liteon iHAPxxx, Pioneer DVR-118, etc) aren't all that good compared to their newer SATA equivalents. You don't have any SATA port available? What about a PCI slot for putting a SATA card?

  20. Trying to make a back up copy for need for speed under cover. PS3 disk ie BlueRay Wii, X360 and PS3 games are protected against copying, which you could've easily found out by using Google.

  23. If you're trying to read an original Wii game disc then you're wasting your time. If it's something else then tell us what it is specifically.
  24. Please post the log from when you built/burned your disc.
