  1. Try it on a BD-RE if you have one.
  2. You'll probably need to convert it with DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar programs before burning.
  3. Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost, etc.
  4. You should ask him why he thought you share his homosexual preference
  5. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=12200
  6. ImgBurn burns stuff as-is, i.e. it doesn't change anything, so you'll need to look in whatever is generating your source files.
  7. Update your burner's firmware and try again.
  8. That's called overburning, and the success depends on your burner/media combination. The quality shouldn't be affected, but keep in mind that not all reader devices may be able to read past 80min of audio.
  9. Where are you putting "the setting in"? ImgBurn automagically does that already. Also please post the log.
  10. The complete log of that burn session would also be helpful.
  11. Then you need to find out why it was/is working in USB 1.1 mode: try another USB cable, connect to a USB port in the back of the computer, or if it's that way already, connect to another USB port at the back of the computer. Also make sure the USB cable isn't entangled with other USB/power cables.
  12. As per the pink banner at the top of the page, post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  13. It wasn't supplying the burner with data in a fast enough way so the burner had to re-link many times, which in the end results in a bad quality burn/unreadable disc. The speeds you were getting are of USB 1.1, not USB 2.0, are you sure your system supports USB 2.0? Use SIW to find out (Hardware -> Ports -> USB).
  14. Where are the source files located? Is it an external drive hooked through USB 1.1? Or perhaps a network drive on a 10mbits network?
  15. Install the chipset driver from this page. By the way, the driver version is the same across all board revisions.
  16. You could also have a look at the other options in this page.
  17. Update ImgBurn. Read the 2nd post from the FAQ thread (link at the top of this page) to solve your DMA problem, then try burning again.
  18. Also install this while you're at it.
  19. Where's the MSD log? You're not giving enough (mis)information
  20. Try other blanks until you find one that works with your burner. You could also post what's shown in the Log window and tell us what you're trying to do.
  21. Try with the Verbatim 2.4x blanks, and if it doesn't work with them, then you can be sure your burner is dead.
  22. "Optiarc DVD RW AD-5170A" (without the quotes) is the Drive ID string. Are you sure you know what you're doing? Have you flashed your burner with the proper bitsetting firmware? If you have then ImgBurn will automatically booktype +R media to DVD-ROM for you.
  23. Search this forum for "semaphore timeout" and try the previous suggestions on how to solve that problem. By the way, UDF 1.02 is a lot more compatible than 2.60.
