  1. Your drive is stuck trying to format that disc. Reboot the computer and you should be able to open the tray then.
  2. Post the log from when you've burned the disc (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).

  4. Look for updated drivers for your SATA controller. You should also try burning at 6x or 8x as you may get a better burn quality on those speeds. //edit actually, please read Cynthia's post below because she has that burner and knows more about it than I do
  5. I'd try flashing with Binflash using Liggy's 3500 bitsetting Firmware 2.1b.
  6. You can find the logs from previous operations in ImgBurn's Help menu.

    NTSC or Pal?

AVIs use a different colour system than NTSC or PAL. And none of them is better: you have to use the one your DVD player supports (some DVD players support both formats).
  8. Post the log of that burn (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
  9. Joliet and UDF standards are old enough to be supported by pretty much any OS or device you're using.
  10. You could try a lens cleaning disc on that burner, but I'd try with Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL blanks first.
  11. Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks because the ones you have are poor quality at best.
  12. Try replacing the burner's USB cable with another one certified for USB 2.0 speeds. I've also had that happen when the power supply wasn't delivering enough energy as it should. By the way, you can use the Read mode with a burned/pressed disc to test the speed: if it's above 1.0x then it's working in USB 2.0 mode.
  13. That ISO image doesn't seem to be bootable. Have you looked here?
  14. We want the one from when you've burned the disc (should be further down in the log file).
  15. You'll have to either edit the ISO image with some other program or re-build the disc using ImgBurn's Build mode (not very easy depending on what you're trying to accomplish).
  16. Your DVD player doesn't support playing PAL content.
  17. As far as we can tell it's a good burn so it should work fine.
  18. When you load the image in ImgBurn's Write mode, what does it say in the File Sys line? Have you tried booting it on the computer you're using for burning?
  19. Try burning at 2x, and if that doesn't work, then try with Verbatim BD-R blanks.
  20. See the pink banner at the top of this page? Good. Now please read it with attention.
  21. Why don't you test it for yourself? Just play the game to the end!
  22. 1- no 2- it's probably because your system's SATA controller is using the wrong driver. Look for the latest drivers for it (hint: use SIW to identify the controller). It was a good burn and verified fine, so why do you need 2.4x so badly?
  23. You should've burned the .iso file using ImgBurn's Write mode. WinRAR associates itself with the .iso file extension and you shouldn't have used it to extract files.
  24. Your HDD is working in PIO mode and you can find the solution to this in the FAQ. Also update your burner's firmware.
