  1. The filenames are stored alphabetically in the filesystem (they have to), and that option in the settings controls the order in which the files are physically located on the burned disc. If you need them to play in a certain order then rename your files to 001-original_name.mp3, 002-original_name.mp3, etc, and they should be played in that order.

    MDS file

Choose the .mds file, as it contains additional information that may be needed in order to correctly burn the ISO image.
  3. Just add a .zip extension and it'll open in WinRAR/7-Zip/etc.
  4. I would get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118030 In fact I'm trying to get one of those but they're hard to find here in the jungle
  5. They did away with the whole layer concept on the BluRay standard, it's all handled by the drive now. Usually there's some kind of error before this message. Can you try that burner on another computer? Or try with another eSATA cable. It's also important to find out which chipset on your system is responsible for your eSATA port(s) and then getting the latest drivers for that chipset.
  6. PS3 games use BluRay media that a normal BluRay drive can't read. Even if you manage to read a PS3 disc, the PS3 doesn't run games burned on BD-R or BD-RE media. As you can see they did their homework on how to prevent piracy.
  7. ImgBurn doesn't copy protected discs and for your other inquiries try asking Google first.
  8. Was the drive still spinning/LED blinking when it stalled burning? Were you able to close ImgBurn or did it stay in memory? First thing I'd do is look for the latest drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or SATA controllers (you can use SIW to identify them).
  9. The DVD burner doesn't care about what you're burning. When you have your final video ready, use DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD or similar software to create the DVD-Video structure for your disc, which you can then burn using ImgBurn by following the appropriate guide (notice the link at the top of this page).
  10. Unless your BluRay and DVD players support DivX, you'll have to convert your video before burning using something like DVD Flick, ConvertXtoDVD, etc.
  11. It's a simple delete like the "Delete" button: it doesn't overwrite / wipe / securely erase your image file.
  12. Update your burner's firmware, reboot then try again at 4x write speed. If it doesn't work at first then also try 6x and 8x. Also try finding the latest drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or storage controllers (hint: use SIW to identify them).
  13. And where's the log of that burn? If you closed ImgBurn then you can find the previous logs in ImgBurn's Help menu.
  14. Check again then because x360 games are bigger in size and they're meant for burning on dual-layer media.
  15. Yes. Have you never burned before?
  16. You just need to insert the disc again so that ImgBurn can verify the burn and confirm if it was good or not (errors/miscompares while verifying = bad burn). By the way, that looks like a Wii game
  17. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14078 - your other thread wasn't good enough?!
  18. You'd be better off using proper backup software then.
  19. The Read mode creates a .iso image file and also a .mds file which contains the source disc's layerbreak position, so yeah, it's a perfect copy of the original disc.
  20. Then why are you using the Build mode? You should be using Read mode then burn it with the Write mode.
  21. Which I/O interface DVDFab is using? ASPI, SPTI?

    i/o error

We'd just be rewriting what LUK has already posted. Run that firmware update, and if it doesn't work, then you'll need to buy a new burner. It's as simple as that, really.
  23. That's not a rewritable disc so you can't erase it. Only DVD-RW / DVD+RW / DVD-RAM discs are rewriteable.
  24. If they're available, yes, as they're the most compatible with most DVD players.
  25. The Queue feature is designed to burn disc images, so it wouldn't work for your needs. I'd do it this way: use advanced input build mode to add your files/folders until you reach the size of a DVD-R/DVD+R disc, then burn the disc right away or save the build project (for burning later), then repeat the process for the remaining files until you've burned all of them. It'll be some 20+ single layer DVDs, so use high quality media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and leave the Verify option enabled, or your backup will be as good as nothing.
