  1. ImgBurn doesn't support multisession discs. If you can make your authoring program output to DVD-Video format (i.e. VIDEO_TS folder with IFO/BUP/VOB files inside) then you can use ImgBurn to create a disc image from that folder and test the created image by mounting it to a virtual drive (Virtual CloneDrive recommended).
  2. Try this firmware update for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). You could also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. If all that doesn't help then you should invest in a new burner.
  3. Also update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
  4. That's the same discs. You need to try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks.
  5. Instead of trying to update the firmware, have you tried other brands of blanks? The ones LUK suggested in post #3 are the best you can get, and even if you can't find them, try the brands you can get until you find one that works with your burner. Alternatively you can burn that to a DVD disc and it should work just the same.
  6. That indicator shows how much of the Audio CD's 80min capacity is being used. But if you want to burn it to a DVD then why are you using the feature for creating an Audio CD?
  7. The right firmware, if there's any, should be available in the Support section of your laptop manufacturer's website.
  8. Please post your Filter Driver Load Order (look in ImgBurn's Tools menu). Also look for updated drivers for your motherboard's chipset and/or storage controllers (tip: use SIW to identify them). You could also post the what's shown in the Log window.
  9. Flashing the wrong firmware could brick (technical term ) the burner.

  11. Try 6x and 8x too, but it doesn't change the fact that your blanks' quality is dodgy at best. Have you read this? Also try this firmware update for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before burning then reboot the computer after it's finished).
  12. 2x isn't even an option, so it appears it was burning at 4x on all your previous burns. Try burning at 8x. If it doesn't work then try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks, because the blanks you currently have use a poor quality dye/ink.
  13. ImgBurn can't do it, hence it doesn't belong to this section. Actually, it doesn't belong to this whole forum. Learn to use Google next time.
  14. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=clean+optical+drive+lens That's because ImgBurn isn't the problem there.
  15. ImgBurn burns stuff as it is, i.e. it doesn't change anything. Try the Audio button of your DVD player to see if it shows/changes the available audio tracks. Also try playing on the computer with a proper DVD player software like PowerDVD/WinDVD/Media Player Classic/VLC Media Player/etc. If it plays OK in the computer then it's likely the audio is in DTS format, which not all DVD player standalones support.
  16. Try burning at 8x. Try cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc, or manually if you know how to do it. Use high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks, preferably the 8x rated ones if you can find them Oh, and update ImgBurn too.
  17. Post the whole log of that burn (previous logs can be found in ImgBurn's Help menu). As for the locking problem look in the FAQ.
  18. Then you should invest in a new burner.
  19. Even though the log would be more useful than a screenshot, the blanks you have are crap, so please read this -> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
  20. Try burning at 4x if you haven't already. Also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc. If it doesn't help then try with the 2.4x Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks or invest in a new burner.
  21. We've seen it take 4-5 hours, but it shouldn't have stuck at 40%. What does it say in the status bar? Also please copy and paste here the contents of the Log window.
  22. Try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks. You could also try cleaning the drive with a lens cleaning disc, or even manually if you know how to do it.
