  1. Keep an eye on the buffer during verification. If it's full, the hdd is slowing it down. If it's empty, the optical drive is slowing it down (that would be normal).
  2. I don't see any DVDInfoPro results. In any case, stick to using Lite-On drives for scanning. CD / Disc Speed doesn't really support scanning the oversized DL discs, notice the graph actually extends beyond the end of the window - but no PIE/PIF lines are plotted.
  3. No that I know of, no. and currently, the MCSE tool doesn't support the 1.Z7 / 1.Z8 firmware.
  4. There's nothing I can do about the 'Invalid floating point operation.' crashes, they occur due to a bug in the development environment I'm using. You should at least be able to cut down on the number you receive by turning off 'Capture Graph Data' in the Settings.
  5. I've never used an Optiarc for scanning - I really have no idea what their scans look like or if they're even any good at scanning full stop. I would not expect a burn from an Optiarc on that media to look like that when scanned on a Lite-On.... unless there was something wrong with the drive/media. As you aren't scanning with hardware I know or trust, I can't really comment.
  6. You want a queue for changing the volume labels of images? Never gonna happen.
  7. Something about your USB drive and USB chipset combo is causing the early timeout that then leads to the drive going offline. Some just don't work very well together. I don't know of any quick fix, sorry.
  8. 8x is for audio tracks. As there's less error correction on such tracks, reading at 8x can help produce a nicer image.
  9. You always can't compare scans between different drives from the same Manaufacturer, let alone a different one using a different chipset. Stick to Lite-On drives for scanning discs.
  10. There's already a Write Queue.
  11. Totally irrelevant.
  12. Press the display graph data button. or Use the option in the File menu or Double click the graph data entry in the Log window
  13. Another drive may have more luck with reading them, yes. It could cause them to freeze/jump/pixelate though.
  14. Slow the write speed down a bit. Try 8x instead.
  15. Playing isn't the same as reading each and every sector. Return it and exchange it for another one.
  16. Yes
  17. Check it for dirt/scratches. Failing that, it looks like a defective disc, your drive is unable to read it.
  18. The family tree info is written to the log window, that's why you called it up (the family tree) and were then supposed to copy + paste everything from it (the log window). Do not close the log window, it's open by default for a reason. Close it and you'll miss stuff. Looking at your screenshot, you should install the 'Intel Rapid Storage Technology' drivers. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=22272&keyword=%22rapid%22&lang=eng You'd want this one - STOR_Win7_8_11.7.0.1013_PV.exe
  19. Windows Media Player can't display CD-TEXT without a 3rd party plug-in. http://bmproductions.fixnum.org/moreprogs/wmpcdtext.htm I don't know why anything else would have a problem with it though.
  20. As mentioned earlier (post #2), it's the window that pops up when you click the little 'View Media Information' button (in the 'Source' box) when you're in Read mode.
  21. Can you just load the program and copy + paste everything from the log window so we know what we're dealing with... thanks.
  22. Can you provide a screenshot of what it says in the 'View Media Information' window please? Please upload the CUE you used when burning the disc too.
  23. Try updating the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-H653G/files.html Failing that, use a different disc.
  24. You follow one of the DVD Video guides in the Guides section. Easiest way, just drag+drop the VIDEO_TS folder. ImgBurn will take care of the rest.
  25. CD-TEXT info is being written, it says so right there in the log. Switch to Read mode and click the 'View Media Information' button. Do you not see the CD-TEXT stuff listed in the window that comes up?
