Update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4167B/files.html When the program writes that 'Waiting for device to become ready...' line to the log window, what are you seeing in the status bar at the bottom of the main window? It should tell you why the drive isn't read (or at least doesn't think it's ready). Cleaning your drive may help (it's old now), as might buying some decent discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden (Victor JVC). EDIT: Copy + paste the disc info text from the panel on the right when you're in *Read* mode with that disc in the drive. Thanks.

You didn't verify it - as such I don't know if it's readable by your drive. You're using low quality 'RITEKF1' media though. If you keep having problems with unreadable disc, consider investing in some better ones - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

It's nothing to do with the ISO itself, possibly just the size of whatever it is you're trying to burn. If your drive is having problems completing the 'reserve track' command, I'm afraid that's its problem. How many discs have you tried? Please post the log - as per the pink box up the top

Tools -> Settings -> Restore Defaults -> Yes

It looks like you need to reset the I/O settings back to their default values. That said, the system isn't showing any CDROM type devices (or they just don't have a drive letter).

Can't burn @ 4x or 6x with ImgBurn 2.5.6.0 / 2.5.7.0

Can you attach the graph data (IBG) file please. -
Post the logs please (as per the pink box up the top )
-
Post a log of you burning+verifying such a disc please.
-
2 '*.i00' files? Normally you'd have an i00 and an i01 or something. So maybe it's meant to go on 2 separate discs.

Your drive seems to have had a problem burning to that disc - it reported a 'Write Error'. Was it your first attempt at burning that MID? (CMCMAG-DI6-000) Update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BP06LU10/files.html If it keeps failing to burn 'CMCMAG-DI6-000', buy some different discs.

No... but that's not their fault, I didn't send them the reports. (sorry) Are you able to find out what your security team did? If you need the primera for business purposes, work with them to figure out which setting stopped it working. I find it odd that ImgBurn can still see the drives, so the problem probably isn't what I was expecting it to be. The logs don't show any sort of error/warning at all... it's as if the hardware just doesn't exist in the first place - are your security team blocking access to USB ports or something? Can you check the robot is found in Device Manager somewhere please. Also, which of your optical drives shown in ImgBurn is the one inside the Primera unit?

Not that I'm aware of... and the structure that contains the 'book type' value (on DVD media) doesn't exist for BD media anyway.
-
Any chance you could send me one of the problem files for testing? You can use the email address in the program's 'About' box. (Help menu) There's nothing I'll be able to do to fix the problem but I'd like to test it out with the default filters in a newer OS. (i.e. Windows 7 rather than what I assume must be XP)

Try installing the latest firmware for your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/TS-L462C/files.html The media you're using is rated beyond the 4x speed your drive is currently limiting it to - so perhaps the DE01 firmware doesn't actually support it properly and that's why your drive isn't burning it very well.
-
SP2 is the current one. Then you'd probably want ot put on the latest (currently anyway!) Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20913&keyword=%22rapid%22&lang=eng You'd want the 'STOR_Win7_XP_11.1.0.1006.exe' file.

It can change the regional code of the drive (5 times as per normal limits). It can't change it for whatever DVD Video disc you're burning.
-
That's the disc info from the main window... do you not have a log window too? You can enable it again via the 'View' menu at the top of the main window. I can see there's a newer firmware available for your drive, you should update. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Samsung/SH-W162Z/files.html You should also read the following 'pinned' (important) topic. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

stuck on Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...
LIGHTNING UK! replied to domac97's topic in ImgBurn Support
This is covered in the FAQ. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=59&&do=findComment&comment=972 You should install service pack 1 for Windows 7 too. -
Like I said, I've seen this problem being caused by outdated drivers. Installing the latest ones usually fixes it. If you could provide the info I asked for, it would be appreciated.

Copy + paste everything from the log window please (as per the pink box up the top )

Please check the filters within ImgBurn itself - just in case the directshow graph is slightly different. Right click one of the problem MP3 files once you've added it to the 'Create CUE File' window and you should see a directshow filter option in the context menu that pops up. Does the disc burn and verify ok? Does it sound bad in the PC and a standalone CD player?
