Try putting the write type back to the default value of DAO/SAO. There's no reason to force it to Incremental. Likewise, forcing OPC might not be helping things.
-
I'm not aware of it having that functionality at all. ImgBurn's Verify mode will tell you if a disc is readable, that's a basic surface scan. What you want is to see the quality of the burn and how readable it is. That's where those other tools come in.
-
Do you mean for disc quality / PIPO stuff? All the tools for that are pretty well known. DVDInfoPro, Opti Drive Control, CDSpeed, PlexTools, KProbe etc.

Data sectors have loads of error correction stuff built in, Audio (CDDA) sectors don't. ImgBurn just asks the drive to read the sectors and return what it reads. As I said before, if your drive reports an error, you'll know about it. If it doesn't, you won't. EAC, as a dedicated audio cd ripping tool, goes way beyond that. If you want accurate audio cd rips, stick with EAC. The clue is in the name. That's not to say that the data your drive returns to ImgBurn is useless. I very much doubt you'd be able to tell any difference.

If the drive reports an error, ImgBurn will display it to you.

W 22:48:07 L0 Data Zone Capacity Miscompare!
LIGHTNING UK! replied to blueeyes211201's topic in ImgBurn Support
Post the whole log please. -
For whatever reason, that drive just seems to be doing an awful job of burning after ~3.75GB. Weird! Hopefully your new one will behave itself

Do try and scan at 4x or 8x. You can see the speed box down the bottom right.

bluray dl fails verification disc's no good
LIGHTNING UK! replied to bobbob97's topic in ImgBurn Support
Use the current version and try the other write speeds. There's no magical setting that would fix your issue. It should just work. -
See if you can use your drive to perform disc quality scans (at 4x or 8x) in the likes of 'Opti Drive Control' or 'nero cdspeed'. If you can, please grab a screenshot of the results and post it so we can take a look. On the off chance 4x isn't an ideal speed for your drive/firmware/media combo, have you tried the others? You could pick up a new LiteOn DVD writer for

If you want a proper DVD video disc, you'll need to convert it into DVD video format. ImgBurn will just burn it 'as is'. You can use things like dvdflick and convertxtodvd for that.

Try another port and/or enclosure.

Your drive seems to be having trouble writing to those discs. Try burning at 8x instead of 24x. Try different discs. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc.

Burning DVDISO to Blank DVD without .MDS file
LIGHTNING UK! replied to blacklash123's topic in ImgBurn Support
ImgBurn lists the physical layer break and OTP/PTP info in the disc info box on the right when you're in Read mode. If you want to use that info and make yourself an mds file , you can do. That metadata is part of the file system and therefore part of the ISO itself. -
Burning DVDISO to Blank DVD without .MDS file
LIGHTNING UK! replied to blacklash123's topic in ImgBurn Support
1 & 2. If the source DVD was an otp style disc, there's a good chance ImgBurn will be able to locate a possible location for the layer break to go. If it can't, it'll tell you. You'll have to pick where it actually ends up via the selection box the program presents you with. PTP style discs often have layer sizes that aren't compatible with the OTP DVD dl discs we can buy/burn. In those cases, you may need to mount the ISO in a virtual drive, then rebuild the file system and ultimately the image file using Build mode. Again, you'll have to pick the layer break position from a list of options. The 'create mds file' feature won't help you here. 3. Meta data such as what? The program will try to copy the volume label from the virtual drive when building the new image, but that's it. -
Use a new disc.

Ok so it appears the 6.1.3.0 update only updates the one in windows\system32\drivers and not the one in windows\syswow64... which is what ImgBurn uses on a 64 bit machine because it's only a 32 bit app and Windows redirects the system32 folder there.

Can I batch ISO DVDs from Bravo II robotic duplicator ?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to BlizzardUK's topic in ImgBurn Support
Yes, just enable the autoloader stuff in the settings on the I/o tab and then enable batch mode in Read mode itself. -
From a field within the file's version info table I believe. I don't have pc access right now, so maybe you could check properties / details on the dll itself and see if any of them mention that version number?
-
You should probably invest in a new drive. If yours won't burn proper verbatim mkm-003-00 with the default settings, they're no good. Don't buy a slimline drive.

Will not burn BD all of a sudden. Errors and fails. Help !!!
LIGHTNING UK! replied to djkeith321's topic in ImgBurn Support
Your drive reported a couple of errors when burning those 'OTCBDR-002-000' discs you're using. Have you always used those? It's not a MID I really remember seeing before. Try burning at all of the 'supported' speeds, not just MAX. Try some other discs. -
Embedding ISRC code (need urgent help)
LIGHTNING UK! replied to RedAscendant's topic in ImgBurn Support
Don't put spaces in it. It needs to be the correct length or it'll be ignored. -
That's already possible if you adjust the formatting options in the settings. It just doesn't do it properly/certify it - hence the massive time saving.
-
Yes, use Build mode. AKA - 'Write files / folders to disc' or 'Create image file from files / folders' Have you tried DVDStyler as I mentioned previously? It claims to allow you to use files that are already in the correct format 'as-is' without re-encoding them. I'm curious to see if it works.
-
Well it's mpeg 2 in the correct resolution and ac3 audio, so going by the dvdstyler faq, that should work. Give it a go
