Physically they'll be in that order (when the option is on). Just look at the LBA in IsoBuster or whatever The specs say the file system must always be in alphabetical order. If you need to break the specs you'll have to look for a tool desgined for the task, ImgBurn won't do it.

I/O Error and ImgBurn Freezing PC Upon Lead-In
LIGHTNING UK! replied to rjbarker's topic in ImgBurn Support
This looks like another nvidia chipset driver issue to me. The drivers misreport the errors being returned by the drive (when asking for more than 18 bytes of sense area data - which ImgBurn does) and ImgBurn is unable to then deal with the ones it expects to see - meaning you (the end user) sees problems that don't really exist. Burning at 4x doesn't mean you'll get a better burn, it could actually be worse depending on how the firmware has been tweaked. You should burn a disc at each speed and then test them via DVDInfoPro / CD Speed to check the PIPO error levels. -
What if dvd files are to big to go on one disc?
LIGHTNING UK! replied to newtothissodon'tlaugh's topic in ImgBurn Support
If your source files are too big and you don't want to use double layer media then obviously you need to 'shrink' them somehow. ImgBurn is just a burning tool, it cannot shrink / reauthor your files. As this isn't therefore an ImgBurn issue, I must ask that you take to searching Google for info on something to make your files smaller. There are a number of programs that can do it, one of which you've already mentioned. -
If you have a problem with the burning stage, post a log so we can see exactly what happened.

Did you turn on the option to sort files in the order they are in within the 'Source' box? If not, it'll sort by name.
-
Not exactly the same, no. With that error code it should mean the drive does support cue sheets (SAO writing) but it doesn't like one of the values in the cue sheet I'm sending. Without having that drive in front of me it would be a hard thing to fix but really it just comes down to your drive not fully supporting/adhering to the MMC specs (which modern drives should).

Your drive / media doesn't work, it's nothing to do with the software. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000

UDF 2.50/2.60 Mirrored Metadata Partition
LIGHTNING UK! replied to derson's topic in ImgBurn Suggestions
The mirror metadata partition is part of the specs for 2.50 and hence (I'm pretty sure that) ImgBurn already makes one! There are certainly 2 copies of the file system descriptors. -
Make your own thread please.

Sure thing, I'll get right on that. Oh wait, ImgBurn is freeware so you didn't pay anything for it (not to me anyway).

Bitsetting support for the Pioneer DVR-116D
LIGHTNING UK! replied to Marcel T's topic in ImgBurn Suggestions
The DVD- (minus) format doesn't have bitsetting at all. edit: snap -
Yes, although the drive claims to have written to the disc without a problem, it's then not able to read it back again - meaning it didn't burn it very well in the first place and the quality is very low.
-
Avoid using rewritable discs where possible, they're not as good/reliable as write once media. You already know the Verbatim Vs The World argument so I won't bother to mention it again
-
Have you actually tried uninstalling the controller from within device manager as per the instructions in the FAQ? 'Looking' at the current DMA value isn't enough - Windows lies. Don't forget SP3 has been out for XP for ages now too.
-
Your drive is old and doesn't support that media. You might have more luck with Verbatim 8x or Taiyo Yuden 8x discs. Really though you could do with investing in a new drive.

The ability to do what exactly?! Drag and drop works fine a.f.a.i.k.

Yeah, assuming the player can decode the type of audio in your files, it should just be a case of pressing the 'Audio' button on the remote until it picks up the correct stream. As Cynthia said though, this isn't anything to do with ImgBurn, it's due to your files and the way in which they've been authored.

1. You can burn both. Proper audio cd's can be made by following the guide in the Guides forum. mp3 style data cd's are 'Built' using the same methods you'd use for burning any type of (non disc image) files - i.e. in Build mode. 2. Yes but this only applies to proper audio cd's and they're gapless by default. Change the pregap size on the 'Create CD CUE File' window if you want a gap. It's down to the player / software to play mp3 type data cds without pauses between tracks. 3. You can't use Build mode for anything multisession, no. You can write multisession images in Write mode though (i.e. CD Extra disc images) - but I'm guessing you won't care about that.

There is no media limitation in ImgBurn. It'll burn until your drive errors out - and your drive returned a 'Write Error' meaning it was probably a bad disc. Slow the write speed down a bit, maybe you'll have more luck. Anything above 80mins is out of spec really and therefore you're more likely to run into problems burning them - especially at the end of the disc when the drive is spinning at very high speeds.

I'd be inclined to remove the association of ISO files from my compression program before associating them with something else.

Make your own thread juggy.

Read the ReadMe.txt file. Make a batch (*.bat) file and just call ImgBurn, passing it the name of the folder you want to make into an ISO. You can also do things in batch files whereby you just say something like for each %folder% in %list of folders%, do %such and such%. I do not know the exact syntax but I'm positive Google will help you in finding it.

This isn't your source of information for all things Wii, it's the ImgBurn support forum. Should you actually run into problems using ImgBurn, give us a shout and we'll be only too happy to help. Until that time, please find a site that actually deals with the Wii.

ImgBurn cannot be used to read your xbox originals, they're protected against casual copying.
