  1. Install the latest Intel chipset drivers from here: http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/inf/ Install that, reboot and then go into device manager and open up the IDE/Atapi branch and remove the 'controller' entries, then reboot again. If your controller is in AHCI mode, make sure you have the latest Intel Matrix drivers installed from here: http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/
  2. The quick erase just writes zeroes to the first 800 sectors or so... that's why it's fast
  3. Are you using the latest beta version? v5.4.1.3 or something Lots of people use it without any problems.
  4. ImgBurn doesn't do what you're trying to do. Use a proper backup tool, file splitting isn't what you want it to be.
  5. A full format takes ages. The drive has its own formatting process that takes a couple of hours, then ImgBurn writes zeroes to every sector. That part will take longer if you don't have fast write enabled as you'll be stuck at 1x or something instead of 2x. So all in all, it'll take about 3 - 4 hours.
  6. It would appear your drive is resetting itself or the drivers are issuing a bus reset, I've no idea why that would be happening. Which controller is your drive attached to?
  7. You need to at least try some different discs - try some Verbatim DVD+R's. Yours could be fake or a bad batch.
  8. I'm guessing it says How do you reduce the write speed for burning wii discs? Is there a Spanish forum? To adjust the write speed you use the 'Write Speed' option. No we do not have a Spanish speaking forum, sorry.
  9. Try cleaning the drive, if that doesn't work you should probably just invest in a new one rather than keep wasting discs. TAO only applies to CD btw, the program will ignore it when you burn any other type of disc and just use DAO.
  10. Google already has the answers, just search!
  11. Yeah just roll back the driver and try again when they release a new update.
  12. Ok, what motherboard do you have? Which controller is the drive connected to? (if more than 1 is present) The filter driver list can be accessed via the Tools menu in ImgBurn.
  13. What drive do you have? How is it connected? What OS are you running? What drivers do you have installed? Which filter drivers are installed on your PC?
  14. It's copy protection, so no it's not doable.
  15. Post the log please
  16. Try doing a full erase of the disc and then try again. You really should update the firmware though.
  17. Ok, you probably just need to switch the write mode to TAO in the settings because your drive doesn't appear to support SAO. You could also update the firmware to D4.0, that might even add support for SAO. http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/...nload-4269.html
  18. Any one of them will do, you don't need them all. Once you've copied wnaspi32.dll to ImgBurn's program folder and switched to the ASPI I/O Interface, give it another go and tell me if you still have the same problems.
  19. Try it again but this time press F8 just before you click the 'Write' button. Then save the log and attach it in your post please.
  20. Where are those Verbs made? Singapore? If not, buy some that are. Failing that, try using a cleaning disc on the drive. If that still doesn't work, buy a new drive.
  21. Chances are that this is related to copy protection - in which case ImgBurn is of no use to you and nor is this forum.
  22. You need to provide a log if you're getting errors.
  23. This isn't really an ImgBurn issue is it. If your source files require a double layer disc, buy double layer discs (read the pinned post at the top of this forum) For everything else, Google is your friend.
  24. It'll be out when it's done. No you can't set the write offset.
