  1. Do you have the same problem if you bring up the same box via the 'Default Destination -> Custom' option in settings on the Read tab?
  2. Hmm this is interesting.... Please post the contents of your cue file. btw, I'd leave the Write Type on DAO/SAO.
  3. If you click on the drop down arrow of the combobox in the 'Source' box, what do you have listed? Are all the folders/files in that list accessible? (Assuming there are any of course) It's unlikely you'd see the OS's folder browse box in many programs, it would have shown up in DVD Dec if you clicked browse when in File or IFO modes though.
  4. The default after installing is Ez-Mode Picker. So which button are you clicking exactly? Going with Build mode, is it one in the 'Source' box or the 'Destination' box? If in the 'Source' box, is it the 'Browse for a file' one or the 'Browse for a folder' one?
  5. When you burn with ImgBurn the discs are always finalised. To do it manually, look at the 'Close' functions within Tools -> Drive.
  6. In which 'Mode'? Normally it's just an API call to bring up the Windows standard dialog boxes so it's those that are actually hanging. Do you have any disconnect network drives or anything?
  7. Ok, that's easily done I will change it to use the real data when read in Read mode but I can use your calculation when I create my own from Build mode. I'd never have guessed at the XOR'ing! Many thanks
  8. I only care about the layer break position so I haven't made any effort to make anything else the same. I'd be interested to know how 'Last Physical Sector of Data Area' is actually calculated if you know?
  9. It's a burning tool. It can copy unprotected discs but not protected ones. For 'normal' discs you can just read the guides in the 'Guides' forum, that's what they're there for.
  10. You can't 'copy' an xbox game using ImgBurn, they're copy protected.
  11. It's trying to calculate the track pregaps. Press F8 to enable I/O debug mode and see if the program is still actively sending commands to the drive. Just to check, you are using 2.4.1.0 yeah?
  12. That's the physical order on the disc, not the logical order from the file system. They're always sorted alphabetically within the file sytem - as per the file system specs. If you don't want them viewed in the order they're in, rename them to something more suitable.
  13. The version of ImgBurn you use has nothing to do with the filters DirectShow connects together in order to go from Source -> Destination formats. So basically all versions of ImgBurn will use the same filters, hence if there's a problem with one it should be there on all of them. What kind of files are you burning?
  14. I'm just waiting on the screenshots - as mentioned in the response to your PM.
  15. lol I'd hardly call that a fix.
  16. I've only implemented support for English ANSI CD-TEXT. It's definitely not Unicode enabled.
  17. Maybe one day but not 'soon'. You can always just use an RW if you don't have CD-R's to spare. ImgBurn uses DirectShow so the quality comes from the filter that does the decoding.
  18. Thanks everyone
  19. Why are you trying to write your ISO in Build mode? You need to switch to Write mode for that.
  20. The quality of the audio comes from the filters. All you're getting as a result of the initial decode pass is a correct duration (based on what the filter returns), the actual data would be the same. You might get a bit more or a bit less now - and of course that's only at the very end of the track.
  21. Crashes how? Do you get an error message? What do you see? (screenshot please) What are you adding? Did you create the files yourself? What OS are you running?
  22. By default, it doesn't compare actual data due to the way drives offset the audio samples. Look in the options and you'll see how to make it compare actual CD-DA content (which will fail on all but a few drives).
  23. Ok now I need all the info from the panel on the right when you're in Read mode and that problem source disc is in the drive.
  24. Posting a copy of the cuesheet would help too.
  25. No, DirectShow is part of DirectX which is part of the Operating System. So basically, no, it's just something built into Windows.
