  1. Ok so what you need to do now is Google 'convert wmv to dvd video' or something similar. Something like ConvertXtoDVD might work.
  2. No, you're the one that needs to check again.
  3. You have general issues with your machine, it's best you fix those before blaming programs. Check your motherboard BIOS is up-to-date, check your motherboard/ide drivers are up-to-date. Check the firmware on your drives is up-to-date. Follow the post in the FAQ about resetting DMA (i.e. uninstall your IDE controller from within Device Manager). Failing all that, reinstall your operating system.
  4. What format is the 'data' one? i.e. what files are currently on the disc?
  5. You might see 24x from the start but it's not a true reflection of the speed they're working at. I could lie and make it say MAX all the time if you like?! (just kidding, I'd never do that really)
  6. Being made by plextor themselves, I'd say it's about as good as you can get (implementations in other programs are based on guess work). There are also loads more tests beyond the PIPO one that you can do with it.
  7. Plextor stopped making their PIPO commands 'public'. You need to use PlexTools for scanning.
  8. load the .dvd file in the 'create DVD mds file' feature in the Tools menu. Add the LB position in the box (you can read it from the .dvd file if you open it in notepad) and then create/save the mds. Mount the mds in DAEMON Tools and point xdvdmulleter at the virtual drive.
  9. 'Verify against image file' does not enable/disable the actual verify. The only boxes that do that are on the main windows of each respective 'mode'. That option in the settings it just tells the program to compare the data on the disc to that of the image file. When it's disabled the program simply checks the sectors are readable. (i.e. it doesn't know if the data is correct, just that it's readable)
  10. I'm hoping it'll be less of a problem with the next version as it won't even let them start reading a protected disc.
  11. The Verify option is the one you're presented with on the main window - i.e. just under the destination drive selection box. It's a single checkbox with the word 'Verify' next to it. There are no options in the 'Settings' for this. If that's not what you're unticking, that's why it's not sticking. It almost sounds as if you've unticked the Device 'Synchronise Selection' boxes - meaning that when you change the drive in one mode, it also changes for the other mode(s).
  12. ImgBurn only reads unprotected discs (or at least no protection is removed if it's present). ImgBurn reads every sector on the disc so you have the whole thing or nothing.
  13. It's telling me your drive doesn't like burning to that media. Get some Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs instead.
  14. Are you sure the image is region 1? I don't see why / how it could be. Regional codes don't normally apply to images as they either don't exist in the first place or are removed when the image is created.
  15. At least the DL13 firmware meant the disc size was calculated correctly, even if it can't burn them!
  16. doh, too slow - and I didn't provide nice links
  17. I believe VLC is the (one of the?) only player(s) to support playing from an ISO. Normally you'd mount the ISO in something like daemon tools and play from the virtual drive. If you can read a DVD in ImgBurn it's unlikely to have a regional code as that normally goes hand in hand with other protections - ImgBurn can't bypass copy protection.
  18. I wouldn't worry about submitting, the translations are not part of the ImgBurn main download. They'll be hosted on their own and can be updated every hour if you so wish!
  19. lol to be fair I'd probably be getting pissed off too!
  20. What exactly does it do / not do? I'm pretty sure people have had DVD Videos from IB playing on their xbox 1. Is it just DL ones you're having problems with or do none of them work?
  21. Are we talking xbox 1 or xbox 360 here - just out of interest?
  22. Maybe it's picky about media / burn quality? Hopefully you're already using Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs.
  23. PREVIEW them and see which one looks best. Either of them will work fine though.
  24. It's a case of loading the exe (once downloaded) and clicking 1 button. I'm pretty sure you can manage that The firmware fixes issues with the drive burning certain discs and adds support for newer ones. It's also improves the general quality of burns. (So basically you want to keep it updated just as you do your OS)
