  1. Is the ISO even valid in the first place?! Mount it in DAEMON Tools and look at the virtual drive in explorer, or open the ISO in WinRar (or similar), or open it in IsoBuster. Even ImgBurn seems to say it's not a valid image. If there's no file system then there's nothing for your player to play or windows to see.
  2. No, just change it in the GUI and then it'll be active anyway.
  3. ImgBurn Support? Moved to chat.
  4. What about it?! If you already have a tool to do what you require, use it. It cannot be done with ImgBurn at this time I'm afraid.
  5. oops, see my edit above. They're not UDF only but a kinda custom build.
  6. There is no provision for making a bootable UDF only disc. (When you make it bootable the program forces ISO9660 back on again) To be honest I don't know if it's possible or how to do it. I think the program would have to make up a fake ISO9660 file system - as used on the Vista install discs.
  7. It would have been... but Blu started it so we can blame him now
  8. Yes you should try again having forced the burnspeed to 2.4x or leave it on 'Auto' having created an entry for that media/drive so it knows to use 2.4x (once again, read the Automatic Write Speed guide!) Firmware updates for your burner I mean.
  9. Doesn't it say 'Min Req. Media' to the left of that? i.e. for the amount you're currently trying to burn you need at least a CD-R/RW disc. Add more and it'll change to say DVD, then HD DVD, then Blu-ray.
  10. Try setting the write speed to 2.4x instead of leaving it on Auto/Max. (You need to configure the program for 'Auto' - read the Guides forum) At the moment your drive is just producing bad burns. Check for firmware updates too. Oh and you don't need to (and shouldn't) set the layer break position manually, that info is read from the .DVD file.
  11. lol so apt too!
  12. Have you tried Google?! This isn't something ImgBurn does and so this (being the ImgBurn forum) probably isn't the best place to ask such a question.
  13. Try Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs instead. If your drive supports any DL discs it would be those.
  14. burning is burning, you can use just about any drive.
  15. You'd have been better off starting your own thread jimjr. I can only assume it wasn't 6GB in the first place or you had certain options enabled / disabled that meant files were being missed / optimised (where duplicates are combined).
  16. Not for a while, there are hundreds of those and they're all hard coded. This (the GUI) was just the start.
  17. It warned you it wouldn't fit.
  18. You don't need to touch anything, the default are the best, that's why they're default! I use them day in, day out.
  19. pm me the details of the change request (you new email address) and I'll look into it.
  20. Your laptop doesn't have a DVD burner, it can only burn CDs.
  21. Forget scanning at max speed, you'll never get an accurate result like that. It's always been said that LiteOn's should use 4x, BenQ's should use 8x. Maybe newer LiteOns might be ok at 8x but I still prefer 4x myself. It would be nice to see jitter levels too but you need CDSpeed for that because DVDInfoPro doesn't appear to support it - or at least not the version you're running. To be honest I can't really see a lot between the two scans. You've got a PIF spike/clump at the start of 2nd layer (where you say it's jumping on your xbox) but it's there on both and so probably doesn't mean much.
  22. 'Complete' is wrong and your drive shouldn't be reporting that. Have a hunt around the web and update to the BYS3 firmware. http://dhc014.rpc1.org/indexOEM.htm#DW-D22A
  23. Yup, so far as I can remember!
  24. I know how to make it so only a single instance can be run, I've used that before elsewhere - but that's about 10% of the problem. You could also be doing something else at the time (i.e. burning) and so loading images in existing instances is just annoying and prone to causing problems. Sorry, it's just too messy for my liking and doesn't really add all that much to the program as a whole.
  25. Do you verify your burns? Maybe your old players just don't like burnt DL discs at all? Have you ever had/used any that work? It doesn't matter if you go via an image file or burn directly to the drive. Going to the drive directly is obviously just a bit quicker and saves the intermediate step.
