  2. hey MYM , a belated , hope it was a good one ?
  3. post a log file from a failed burn please , without that its just a guessing game
  4. No problem Mike , better to report anything unusual than to not say anything at all
  5. no problem with kaspersky AV
  6. Maybe Werwer should do a translation of the German Language as well ? immer Volvo's bestens Deutsch Werwer, hier ist die schreiben fur machen English zu Deutsch fur ImgBurn Hier, Du bis der bestens personen fur dies arbeit Nicht alle Englisch mann verstehen mein englisch sprachen , aber mein Deutsch is als nicht gut
  7. have you got "anydvd' running on that PC ? and posta full log file,as your first one looks like a shortened version
  8. so mandyb must have been using an older version of flick then ? i still think it would e better if flick could call IB from IB's own installation I Should add that this is not a critism of the dvdflick authors work , just a suggestion
  9. i think this goes against what they are saying about dvdflick using ImgBurn. It strikes me that your better off using dvdflick to create the compliant files to the project destination folder ,then running a seperate install of IB ( from here)so at least your using the latest version ( which, for the benefit of the dvdflick author, has been updated and improved even if he thinks differantly what version does it install/use ?
  10. Thats a bit of a piss poor way of doing it then ? . wouldnt it be better if it installed IB to its own directory on C: instead of within flicks directory for the very same reason mandyb just had
  11. such a good play on words does that make you Cunninglinguist ?
  12. Happy belated Birthday Loco , Hope it was a good one for you
  13. when it tells you there is a new version available, it will tell you what your current version is as well as what the new version is. check what the 2 versions are that it displays on the update notification
  14. update the philips firmware for a start , your on P1.4 , ive just seen a P1.9 so find the latest for it
  15. DVDflick is making your files slightly to large, thats why it gave you a warning about disc space in ImgBurn. if there is a setting in dvdflick for the output file size choose the user specified size as opposed to the DVD5 or DVD9 optionand make it 4.2Gb , see if that works. I dont use dvdflick so have never seen the sttings options, but most of this type of program give you 3 basic options, dvd5. dvd9 or user specified. the oversize problem is still with the program that makes the files and not Imgburn it "MAY" be that the command sequence error is caused by the large file, but do follow Blutachs advice above and get a better quality media anyway
  16. in write mode, just look in the info pane on the right of the main window, that will show you what size the blank disc is
  17. theres an option to turn off "funny quotes" but not to turn off tooltips afaik after a quick search of the forum, it looks like it may be ZoneAlarm or AVG free causing the issue of not seeing any tooltips. have aread of this thread HERE see if disabling zonealarm or AVG ( if you have them installed) cures the non show of tooltips
  18. There ARE tooltips for all buttons in all 5 modes ( just tried them all myself). theres even tooltips in the EZ Mode Picker window. Youa re using the current version arnt you ? v 2.4.1.0
  19. see PM message i replied to the box you refer to is just a list of recent folders that you have visited, a handy way to go back to folders if you decide to abort that build session and restart your project. unless they show in the larger window below that one, they wont be on your disc, dont forget there is a calculator on the right hand side to check your projects size before burning see the following guide by Cornholio for more info BUILD MODE GUIDE click here
  20. there are some tooltips, but we rely on the guides section and this forum for your help. we also suggest you keep ImgBurn on Default settings as well, unless you know exactly what everything does. ImgBurn was designed to be used "out of the box" for most users, so there is little need to know ALL of its functions/settings . Anything you want to know, just post a thread
  21. try svp.co.uk in the UK , they ship to most of mainland europe and with realsitic prices
  22. ImgBurn only burns what its given,it doesnt alter anything, so the problem lies within dvdflick's settings somewhere im afraid just checked out the dvdflick forum, where they recomend to install a program called "Any Video Coverter" to cure any audio sync problems i read it HERE
  23. your discs are very poor/low quality with CMC based dye/ink ( CMC is known to be about as low as it gets for quality) your drive does not even recognize them hence the "Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format" message. go and get Verbatims,2.4x made in singapore with the ID of MKM-001 , then your problem should be cured
  24. IF it was a brand new disc and still shrink wrapped, your burner doesnt like them. Have you attempted to write to this disc already though Look at the bits in red above, the manufaturer ID is usually what shows when the disc is a poor quality one, or the drive just cant read it properly. try updating the firmware as this may overcome the problem , also try some Taiyo yuden or verbatim discs as well
