  1. Peter i can't answer for the Guv'ner, but all older versions of ImgBurn are not supported anymore. Development of the current version is the main priority, as it is with all programs and programmers. I personally know that LUK has been totally dedicated to the development of V2.0.0.0, and the time and effort he put in to getting it to release stage was amazing . If he allowed older versions to be hosted it may create several questions being posted in the forum which would only lead to confusion for everyone .
  2. your firmwares out of date as well , 2.0e seems to be the latest for that drive
  3. what happens if you UNcheck Test Mode ?
  4. ?? , mix mill and life and you get a milf
  5. , i got some bed time reading you may prefer instead of log files if you want @calweycn switch updates off as advised above and check manually whenever you want to check for updates HELP Button >Check for IB updates . simple and sorted everybody's happy so you don't want an automatic notification of any updates to V2 then ? which may immediately cure any problems your experiencing !
  6. i would suggest your loss of 1% was due to your actual drive being at fault as opposed to it being a NTFS file system . i cant honestly say i have ever heard of people losing stuff from an NTFS drive ,but not losing stuff on a FAT32 drive. I'm not saying you didn't lose the 1% you mentioned, but you cant put that down purely to the NTFS system , some other factor must have been involved .maybe lack of defrag , bad sectors on that drive ect ect. i don't know of any business that uses FAT32, they all use NTFS, that makes me think there must be a reason for it, usually as xp pro works well with it. your going to have to take the gamble if you want shrink to work with your ISO's by changing to NTFS , OR get an external drive and format that as NTFS instead. then you can have the best of both worlds
  7. have you flashed the firmware on that drive recently ?, and if so, did it burn to those disc's correctly before ? i remember kenadjian using the A117 firmware and having some strange things happen with certain disc's that worked fine before, mainly recognised write speeds
  8. You save your logs? What kind of fanatic are you! That's just not healthy. notice lfc is on the beta team , if you knew how many discs and tests had been done in the last month by LUK Lfc and all the beta team to get v2 released , youd know why all the logs were saved .besides, wait till you see the size of the bonfire lfc is going to have with all those logs
  9. Corn's and Blu are the mark with this one . if you want to gamble at more than 8x, then be prepared for coasters everywhere . best max speed for an ext dvd writer using USB2.0 or firewire1394 is 8x . you should get consistent results at 8x. by making the statement that you did above, youve just answered your own questions about buffer underuns.anything over 8x will/probably will cause buffer problems ( sound familiar ?). DONT believe everything Nero tells you , it lies about how long it takes to write a disc ( check the actual burn against a watch , then see how far out neros est time is) as we have been thru the speed thing before with laptops and ext drives , then im not saying any more
  10. and NO ! you cant have a beta , play with the real deal instead though.enjoy it
  11. @spinner a double trailer set up behind 1 semi trailer/tractor truck , roadtrain style. but of a fooker to park in walmart for the weekly shopping trip though lengths are for Australian rules the kind of vehicle i have to use when i go on the pull for a couple of these delightfull nimble ladies after a night on the town . do i have to post the picture again ?? , you know, this one
  12. im licenced to kill at 44 tons .you dont need a B train to do that over here LOL.
  13. not sure, so im trying it now. suggest you try it in "Build to iso mode" and see what happens, you can also refer to Cornholios guide Creating a double layer ISO on your hard drive using ImgBurn i have only used dvdauthor for single layer DV5 media myself ,when you use IB you have options/recomendations to decide where you want the layer break yourself.
  14. and check "allow more than 8 directorys" box just done it with 9 folders within another folder, works ok
  15. despite assurances from regular members here, and offending the author at the same time , i have to admit i was suprised to see such a question on a MAIN support forum for a program . i think your best bet is to stick with some other lesser burning software if you have any doubt
  16. erdoke all is ok now though ? there is an upgrade from kasp 5 to 6 on there site
  17. is it vital to actually have a specified time stamp though, or would just a date stamp suffice ?
  18. always thought lfc was a d00d ,not a doodess
  19. LOL , because of several weeks of testing and making sure it was right before he put it on general release ....................... OR because Madam Lightning knows all
  20. personally i wouldnt have bothered. i leave the lights on on my car when i go in the shop , i switch the car off and the lights go off, when i get back in and turn the engine on, the lights come back on what if the next time you want to start IB you want to use build mode again ? at least its in the mode i want and i dont have to change mode ! 6 of one half a dozen of the other really
