Verbatim Dual Layer discs are the only DL's that work right and the only ones recommended by IMGburn . When you post make sure you copy and pasye a log of the burn it has all sorts of info we can use .IMGburn automatically saves the log now you can find by clicking Help , IMGburn logs DVD Shrink does not make proper dual layer ISO's and shouldn't be used to do it ,use IMGburn in build mode , you can find a how to in the GUIDES forum you can also booktype the discs if your burner supports doing it ,make them all look like DVD Rom discs for playback compatibility but a log is necessary to see what burner you have

right click on the burner and choose erase disc and from that choose full or quick.
-
same here ,when I was stationed in Texas and Mississippi I heard the same expression and said WTF didn't turn my back on them either ,those combat boots might have been their first pair of shoes
-
professional courtesy ?

click on the upper left corner of this page IMGburn Website and download the most recent version it will have the build mode in it your version must be from before it was added to the software

not sure if this what you're asking, to defragment the hard drive---> start ,all programs ,accessories ,system tools ,disc defragment
-
its there to insure that you dont have any other program try to use the drive and screw up the burn .Burning to 2 different drives at the same time must put a pretty good load on the computer. Personally I just burn one thing at a time and have never had ny problems

LG is going to release a player that will handle blu-ray and HD discs next month The initial price for the player will be $1199 (?620) when it arrives in the US next month. That is marginally higher than Blu-ray players, but analysts expect the cost to drop sharply if it helps drive uptake of high definition formats.

go into the device manager and see if the hard drive is in PIO mode it should be Ultra DMA also your burner should not be on the same channel as the harddrive and you should also be using an 80 wire ide ribbon Start ,right click my computer ,properties ,hardware ,device manager . IDE/ATAPI controllers ,primary channel ,advanced settings and look to see what mode its in IF its in PIO right click on the primary channel and click uninstall, reboot and let windows set it to Ultra DMA mode ,you can do the same for the secondary

theres a great clip (one of corns links ) where theres a meter maid who writes tickets as cars are parking and before the drivers have a chance to get out of the car and put change in the meter the looks on their faces is great

the music is called Yackety Sax originally done by sax legend Boots Randolph , maybe not him in that piece though
-
thats pretty interesting that you can change the burner thats a + only to a - and + RW .The 2510 also does dual layer those flashes would be a cheap upgrade to be able to burn all formats
-
yeah thats 1 problem you have a + burner and - dvd blanks so you're never going to be able to burn anything to them but the write button greyed out is another, if the burner is recognized you should get an "incompatable format " error when using the wrong format discs not to be too simplistic but are you sure that you've selected " WRITE " in the mode options , Mode--->write if its possible can you post a screenshot of the IMGburn window when you try to burn ,the more info you supply the faster the problem gets cleared up
-
why bother to look for Sonys with TY dye when you can simply buy Taiyo Yudens ,Verbatim are excellent also I use them both and cant remember the last time I burned a coaster
-
without a log I'd guess you dont have a burner just a dvd rom (read only) or a combo drive reads dvds and can burn cd's.The log will clear all this up

that must be a pretty old drive to only support +R ,if memory serves me right the only +R drives I remember were the HP ones , make sure you look for a firmware update also
