Knowing where to put it . . . . . . . $49,999
-
I have them also, and I followed the info they gave over the phone...and lost the kids email addresses and never got the damned thing working...so I gave up on Adelphia as far as a website setup goes... what an F'n joke the worst service I've ever had anywhere and the were bought out by ComCast not much better ,also their list of movies suck On Golden Pond every other day Cocoon and they play the same movie all day long, seriously considering dumping cable and only keeping the Internet

Japan and Taiwan produce about 99% of the discs, India has gotten into the manufacture of discs lately but I dont know about their quality, Verbatim + and - are excellent for single layer and Taiyo Yuden the same all others are junk by comparison . My Verbs are also made in Taiwan I use the + and - the use AZO dye are MCC ID code and 16X I use a NEC3500 and cant remember the last time I made a coaster and all verify 100%

Google PAL to NTSC its a pain in the ass and takes forever but can be done .You didn't do anything wrong IMGburn doesn't convert anything its a burn only software
-
did he lay there making toneless noises after drawing on it
-
it may well be for the same reason that blank discs are reported as 4.7 gigs when we all know they are 4.38 Gigs or so They didn't do the conversion of Bytes to Gigs and for marketing purposes saying 4 gigs sounds better
-
never saw where Taiyo Yuden makes Verbatim I think the articles wrong also we were talking about Dual Layer discs which Taiyo Yuden doesn't make at all. They do make great single layer discs. Verbatim DL +R are the only discs to use if you're burning dual layer

not a big fan of HP stuff had my issues with them .The only thing they make thats worth buying is their printers they got that right -
I'm considering a new drive that can scan ,my experience with Pioneer is a Pio 115 DVD Rom that I bought years ago 7-8 ? it still has the original firmware on it its my read drive still works flawlessly and its had thousands of discs through it a real workhorse .I burn with an NEC3500 and theres been well over 1000 burns with it and still every burn is perfect ,luck or just great drives I dont know, they both came from Newegg.com
-
wondering about the scans I was thinking that all the manufacturers are not working to some set standards when it comes to scanning hence the difference in the %'s each maker has their own specs and comparing them might be futile
-
reduce the write speed to 8x writing them at 16x and you're not getting the best quality after 12x the quality drops off check the media and guides forum the scans are there

wait untill you're grilled gefore you confess everything

the notorious double poster has returned ,

from their site Newegg.com does not currently ship internationally; we only deliver to locations within the United States and to Puerto Rico.

everyone in the know uses Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden ,we've seen plenty of I/O errors with Sony or drives that flat out don't like them. When Verbs and Yudens work so well why bother with other stuff . I bought 200 16X -R verbs for $54, thats 27 cents each how much better can I do ? The sonys are $23/50 double what I pay
-
like DVDD, IMGburn is English only
-
you are at the IMGburn forum and support is for it, not any other software ,I was suprised to find you were not even using IMGburn

a successful verify means that what you've burned to disc is exactly the same as the ISO and putting it on great media (Verbs,Yudens ) means a flawless playback. There is no 18x media available theres 16x and the drive manufacturers write firmware that allows 18X burns on 16X discs all the testing and scans clearly show that the quality of the burns drop off after 12X and like yourself I burn at 6X also and can't remember the last time I burned a coaster everything verifys and the discs are perfect. For me its start the process and go away let the comp do its thing,if I have more than 1 ISO to do then I use the Queue function and just feed the burner media Plextor made a great reputation for itself years ago when drives first started burning DVD's but as time goes on the other manufacturers have caught up and these days you can get 2 sometimes 3 drives for the price of 1 Plex ,overpriced in my opinion the manufacturers use speed for marketing ,some people have to have the newest, fastest ,most gimmicks ,the highest speed only comes on the outside part of the disc ,if the drive hits 18x for 1 second then its considered a 18x drive its not like the drive burns like that from start to finish I'd say the majority of the BETA TESTERS burn at 8X

we cant discuss anything related to ripping/copyright bypassing for legal reasons .Its what led to the end of Decrypter and legal problems for LUK. You dont have the settings wrong in IMGburn ,it works just fine on defaults.Like I said before IMGburn DOES NOT rip dvd's its a ISO burning software
-
Pamela IMGburn does not rip anything its a burning only software , you would need files or folders on your hard drive for IB to create an ISO and then burn.Hang in there its just a learning curve we all go through
-
NEC also supplies a flash tool when you download the FW works great ,updating the FW clears up a lot of issues

I am unable to find the Serial ATA version at any of these websites. good call it was the 760 A and not the SA couldn't find anything on it that wasn't Euro /Aussi, is it so much different than the 755SA that is available ?
