  1. Happy Birthday G as for the beer on keyboard I saw one at CompUSA thats totally encased and you can roll it up sounds like the perfect present its waterproof
  2. My club DropZone is only up the road for there at Hinton, around 18 months ago we had a trainee doing their AFF level 1. He opened his canopy at 5k and proceeded to visually locate the DZ, what he locked onto and then headed toward was RAF Croughton about 5/6 miles away as the crow flies. By all accounts he lined up and executed a perfect landing on the main runway only to be met by wailing sirens and fully armed, weapons drawn MP's. He was stripped of his rig, spread eagled on the tarmac and handcuffed at gunpoint, then duly led away and questioned by the Military Police. 3 hours later when they were satisfied that he wasn't a threat to security was he allowed to contact the DZ, the CCI who was one step ahead of the off target lander dispatched a vehicle with the jumpers instructor on board to the base to help smooth things over. Needless to say he got back safely and still holds the club record for the longest off target landing and is still known affectionally as " Captain America " within the parachuting fraternity....... he's lucky he didn't land on an antenna out by the reciever site ,I spent two great years there getting loaded in Banbury ,well everywhere I guess and lived in a really old converted tavern in Long Crendon near Oxford still remember the address 21 High Street it was aptly named the local was only a few doors down

  6. Leave it on Automatic and let shrink take care of it ,if the file is too big shrink will compress it , if it will fit then shrink won't have to do anything and will encode it .When you hit backup there will be a Select Target box and a drop down menu. you can select ISO to hard drive ,after shrink encodes/compresses, open the drive where its stored (shrink will give you a heads up where its stored ) then open IMGburn and find the ISO under Source (please select a file) and burn it For media I only reccommend Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim quick Guide for Shrink Open files, select folder (dvd name) click on +sign Video TS folder opens click ok Shrink analyzes the File (a couple of minutes ) main window opens ,click reauthor ,drag and drop Main movie from left to right and then click backup ,SELECT BACKUP TARGET look at the little arrow on the right click on it and select ISO Image file click OK and Shrink creates an ISO . Like its been said its illegal to break the copyright on DVD's whether you own them or not, this is what led to the demise of DVDD but the above guide will work to do home movies, clips also after the proper proccessing
  7. the discs you are using are about the biggest POS there is we see so many posts with people using CMC MAG dye and its no wonder they have issues .While you can burn them with another machine is irrelevant its this comp you need to worry about ,CMC discs shelf time is very poor and they become unreadable very quickly. The drive doesn't like that disc which is strange considering that they are both sold under Memorex .Get some other discs Office Max has Verbatim 16x discs on sale for $15/50 I think the sale is still going on Not to knock your drive but its not on the top 10 list of good drives most here are using Pioneers ,Nec's,Benq,Lite On's ,Sony .Its a search for the right media for the drive and most here use Taiyo Yuden ,Verbatim and even Ritek but they are not what they used to be
  8. I think it was 1919-1920 that women got the vote the Indians were 4 yrs later ,it was all put to rest by Lyndon Johnson in 1965 when the Voting Rights Act was passed that put an end to the individual states impliminting qualifications barring people from being able to vote.
  9. hell I think it was 1924 before AMERICAN Indians got the vote and they were here first, and still in some states they were denied the vote New Mexico denied them that right untill 1962 ,if ever a group of people was fucked over by the government it was them ,sent to reservations where the land was so poor you couldn't grow weeds much less food

very true Shamus its an AMD800 and it would need to be flashed but I'm not buying one. I have enough HD space in my puter for my needs 160 gigs in 2 drives .The post was just some info for members in case they might want to expand, $50 for a 200 gig drive is a steal .My other puter is a 2.2AMD with a couple of 120Gig Sata drives that is sitting on my living room table waiting to be finished ,braided lines, dual PS,re-routing of all the wiring to hide most of it for a real clean look ,all I need is time which is in short supply right now and an OS .The 800 has been flawless since I built it only crash was when I installed some memory that I thought was Micron and turned out to be fake when I pointed it out to the vendor I got my money back ,he knew what he was selling ,counterfit crap

  21. A bit of both I think bill. most are in survival mode just trying to get by and feed families pay bills etc and dont have time for the crap that politicians throw their way ,some are of the mind that it doesn't matter who gets elected you're going to get screwed anyway so whats the use .The Govt. counts on that, here in the US only 65% of all eligible voters vote and then some candidate gets elected with say 55% of that vote so its not like its the voice of the majority that gets him/her elected .Then they're called world leaders ,I wondered if any of them has taken a good look at the state of the worlds affairs at all, this kind of leadership we can all do without
  22. I'm starting to get access violation at such an such address in kernel 32.dll when I try to use the que function in IMGburn any ideas ?
