  1. Update drive's firmware to A109 from here http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GT10N/files.html for now you have A108 installed Use a lens cleaning disc in that drive to clean the lens.
  2. From where did you think I've got that quote with speeds, if not from your posted log? The fact that you tryed on another system and drive and still no joy, proves how "good" the media are. For a new drive, you better check at http://www.myce.com/ as they have a lot of reviews for drives.
  3. A combination of bad reputation drive with a not so good media. Read this.
  4. Are you verify your burns? Post a log http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 Do the names of the files are long or contain some special characters that the player not support? Try rename them Movie1, Movie2... AVI is a container that can store a lot of codecs that your player might can't decompress. Open the files in GSpot and compare them.
  5. Yes, send it back if it makes you trouble on multiple computers. This time, if you can convince the seller, ask for a full hight drive not slim. The slim ones are't that good to burn DL.
  6. It is not posible with any software to continue an interrupted burn by power cut. Get an UPS.
  7. Try the drive on other computer.
  8. Try the other speeds available. Get better media or get a drive that burn those lousy discs.
  9. Your computer has lost communication with the drive. Is this the port you always use for connecting the drive? Try others if you have available. Are you accidentaly disconnected the drive, it has not enough power to operate correctly or could be a loose cable or bad drivers. Update chipset drivers and check/replace the cable. What happend with the internal one? Is it broke? You did a bad choice getting another slim one drive.
  10. You can crossflas your drive to a newer firmware if you want. Beware that it voids warranty in case of failing. http://club.myce.com/f142/lg-blu-ray-crossflash-ggw-h20l-gbw-h20l-be06lu10-be06lu11-260811/
  11. ImgBurn automaticaly save the logs. You can find previously saved logs following this Guide http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 There is no limitation on number of File Entries in the file system Blu-ray uses (UDF).
  12. http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download Look down on page.
  13. Do you verify your burns? Post a log as suggested in the pink box above.
  14. Yeah, -RW recorded in a DVD recorder, so it has DVD-VR files on it. DVD-VR comes from DVD Video Recording. Here's more detailed explanation of the format http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-VR

http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=14632 the program's log it's a link you should click on that redirects you to the guide where to find logs of ImgBurn,
  16. As I understand it is a DVD-VR you could try Ulead Video Studio to import the section you want from a DVD-VR. I know I did it in the past from a camcorder miniDVD.
  17. No. What's the reason anyway? It's RW, copy that content, add what you want and build a new disc.
  18. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Laptop burners in general are dealing hard with DL discs. Try what's suggested in the link. Finaly, if all fails, buy yourself an external drive that do the job done better.
  19. I know nothing about building a BD, but there is an error line the process.
  20. Update your drive's firmware http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/BH08LS20/files.html Update ImgBurn to latest version and verify your burns.
  21. ImgBurn will tell you what is your version installed and link you to check for updates. Go to Tools > Drive > Check For Firmware updates... in any mode other than Ez-Mode
  22. Laptop burners in general are not that good at burning dual layer discs. I will give you again the link http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 mmalves gived to you in your other post. It's not magic to make your drive work, follow the suggestions in the link. In the end try with Verbatim or buy an external drive that do the job done.
  23. Update firmware to latest 1.28 http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/DVR-112/files.html you currently have 1.16 installed. Unfortunately DVD Flick comes with an old version of ImgBurn, you can replace ImgBurn.exe from Program Files\DVD Flick\imgburn\ with the latest version from Program Files\ImgBurn\ or untick "Burn project to disc" in DVD Flick Project Settings and do it in two steps, 1. encoding part with DVD Flick 2. use this Guide to burn the final Video_TS folder to disc.
  24. Glad to hear that worked. Tip: You only need Video_TS folder, Audio_TS is empty and useless but ImgBurn will create it automaticaly however to comply with standard.
  25. Good to hear that you sorted out and was not a user problem that made us scratch our heads.
