I really didn't know you were so technically minded Oily Regards

My NAV doesn't complain and never did. I do run an old version though - don't need all the whistles and bells that can - and obviously do - get in the way. Regards
-
I doubt you'll have any issues after that. Make sure they are Made in Singapore with MKM-00x and you'll be 100% happy. Regards
-
Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Please post the whole log. Do ensure your DMA is on and you are using high quality Verbatim DL disks (MKM dye) and not burning too fast. Regards
-
I actually think on a DL disk that 32k will probably not be necessary. It would be unusual that you eliminate anything. You might by-pass crappy FBIs and trailers, but there's no need to remove them (and the natural space they take up between the IFO and BUP). The 32k issue is more for DVD-5 and especially for "re-authored" DVDs in DVD Shrink/Ner0 Rec0de, which have no VIDEO_TS.VOB. Regards
-
You might search for "splitting a DVD". The VobBlanker site might be helpful. Regards

Sorry to take a while to respond. The LU is simply a designator that there may be additional LUs on the DVD. There is no issue in breaking at, or in the middle of, any LU. For mine, however, I would always try to break at the start of a title - this is the natural place because there is always an STC discont and a non-seamless joint (in your case, you have title 4, 5 or 6 to pick from). Although, some would also say that it's a good thing to have a whole VTS on a single layer (so there's no swapping back and forwards across the LB when a menu call is made). So, 6 of one .... But, don't be afraid of breaking at the start of any LU (you can use PgcEdit to eliminate unwanted LUs if you like - Menu --> Remove LU). Regards

That's a funny firmware ID for an LG drive. Is it the original or did you get it somewhere? Regards -
some files/sub folders missing on new build/write cd

Like this Regards -
That is a misnomer in PgcEdit - it is a throwback to the old days where we called the cell which was non-seamless the "layer break". But really all that PgcEdit is showing is that the mux is such that the cell must be considered non-seamless. In this case, it is because of the cell commands. A cell following a cell command must be non-seamless by definition. But this is not always the true layer break. In a regular movie, you will easily spot the layer break cell. It is the only one marked as LB in the main movie and is often a "broken" chapter with 2 cells in it (the 2nd being the start of layer 1). Necessarily, at the layer break, the audio buffers run out and the cell is marked non-seamless. However, recent research has shown that you can mark the cell as seamless and lose the nasty pause at the layer break for many players - you will need to experiment yourself to see if your player supports this "seamless layer break". Quick question on buffer while BUILDING an .iso
blutach replied to Peppero01's topic in ImgBurn Support
More than likely, in such a case, the LB will be positioned before one of the episodes. Regards -
@JasonFriday13 The "." and "," are dependant on your regional settings. Pop a DVD in and see for yourself. Regards
-
In your case 196,608 + 1,814,608 -1 (cos the sectors start numbering at 0) = 2,011,215 (which equals the last physical sector in layer 0) Regards

DVD2AVI? Or grab the PgcEdit previewer and integrate/call it. Regards

Maybe add/place VIDEO_TS/VOB burning in the WRITE category?
blutach replied to DudeBoyz's topic in ImgBurn Suggestions
You have this in Ner0. Perhaps use that. Regards -
In these situations, although the likelihood of success is not great, you can try to manually close the disk thru the tools menu. Regards

Up till about a year ago, Ritek made pretty good disks. I used them all the time and never had an issue (the +Rs). But then they changed manufacturers and quality went down the toilet. You should only get TY or Verbatims now. Regards
-
Dunno if anyone has suggested this, but it's a real good idea to post a log Regards

Totally un fuckin believable. I hate the stuff actually, can't stand the smell of it. But really! Millions of Aussies can't be wrong. We should retaliate by banning Microsoft products!! Now, that would really be helping Australia. Regards
