  1. Well, what media are you using? What speed? Is there a log? Help - ImgBurn logs... We can only discuss the burning aspects of your problem on this forum. Ripping and shrinking will need to be discussed on other forums. Regards
  2. Spinner, I just think it's rude not to acknowledge a "thank you" and since the "thank you" was clearly directed at me, well, I just had to respond Regards
  3. And why does ImgBurn need to emulate Ner0? Moreover, I have never heard one issue about small DVDs. I perosnally have burned dozens of them. Regards
  4. Yes, it would be. See our media reports in our drives and media forum. Regards
  5. I can click the bottom button but I see what you mean. You can come back and it is greyed out sometimes. Regards
  6. Maxell makes a good cheap one. Regards
  7. And even if they do burn, they tend to degrade - sometimes quite rapidly. Come back in a year and your precious data is simply a bitbucket. Trust only Verbatim (MCC/MKM dye) and Taiyos. #1 rule. Regards
  8. Might be a dumb question, but do you have admin privileges on this PC? Regards
  9. All DVDs are required to have VIDEO_TS.IFO to be in specification. ImgBurn is flagging an error in your project structure, that's all. When asked if you wanna continue, say NO (unless you want a new coaster). Regards

Looking forward to seeing Jack back. Regards
  11. From a sexy guy .... :D Regards
  12. I really see little reason not to have the drive permanently set to DVDROM. PCs can certainly read that booktype and so can standalone DVD Video players (which prefer that setting). Doesn't leave much else. Regards
  13. No adhesive label on the disk is there? Regards
  14. edit - link removed
  15. How true is that, eh? The budget stuff is really quite hit and miss. Sometimes you can get semi-decent stuff, others it's not worth a rat's. Worse still, if you come back a year or so later, the media has degraded (this is from a technology that is supposed to preserve your data for years and years). Verbs or TYs. Forget about problems. Regards
  16. See post 4 for link to firmware upgrade. Maybe my blue has turned to invisible ink. Regards
  17. Good to see. Thanks for letting us know. Regards
  18. At least that light of day will be blu on a bluray Regards
  19. There is no way on God's green earth I'd ever use anything quite as stupidly designed as a -R DL disc. Regards
  20. As for the paperclip method, be sure the drive ain't spinning at the time. The cold reboot is perhaps the safest way. But clearly the drive hasn't finished doing its stuff. Regards

  22. If you are fine with what you are using, then be prepared to live with the problems. You've been advised already. Au contraire. You are on 1.25, the latest is 3.20. See here. Take the blinkers off. Regards
  23. Or try TweakUI. Or Windows Defender. Or MSConfig. Regards
  24. Be my guest. MSN me if you like db. Regards
