  1. The failed verification simply means that your drive can't read back the data on your disc compared to the data on your HDD that is was burned from. The above read error is due to the discs you are using. I guess you were lucky to get a good burn out of them. In the future try some Verbatim or Taiyo Yudens.
  2. Yes they are... Current firmware for you drive should be 1.01...check with the manufacturer for an update.
  3. Try DVD Flick ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/552742
  4. Well that's just great...now I've got 100 LS discs I can't use
  5. Split them up and burn 2 single layer discs then...
  6. Just like little girls and Cynthia
  7. I'm thinking that the ISO is never created since your machine is shutting down prior to the completion of the project. DVD Flick forces you to choose a location of your output files, so unless you are just blindly clicking YES at all the prompts you should know where your saved files are going.

    Idling on IRC

I used to waste my time with IRC and still do on occasion, but I don't idle anymore. I doubt Imgburn would benefit from an IRC channel TBH and as you've stated...no one would talk.
  9. Glad you got it sorted...happy burning.
  10. Are the drives set up properly as in master/slave jumpers?
  11. So that should answer your question about the size difference. ConvertXtoDVD encodes your 7XX.avi to a DVD complaint format which turns out at usually 3+ gigs.
  12. I'll give a new burner a second hoo-rah
  13. Yes, but I wanted the OP to answer that question so that the process could be made clearer to him/her and then perhaps they would realize where the descrepancy comes into play. As for burning the avi straight to disc without encoding first you must determine that the standalone player will, in fact, play nice with the avi format.
  14. Are you burning the avi's straight to the disc with Imgburn or with some other sort of program like DVD Flick/ConvertXtoDVD etc.?
  15. Might be time for a new drive.
  16. Admin doesn't ban people for whining...enjoy you stay and be a prude all you care to be.
  17. Still burning too fast...try 2.4X or 4X
  18. This is the forum as run by the author of Imgburn...I've seen a couple of your posts and don't get the repeated "professional" remarks. Risking a childish response I might suggest you leave the attitude at the door. If the browse icon is too small and you don't wish to use it you can always drag and drop your folders/ISO's/files into the queue and there is also the drop zone that can be utilized.
  19. Just curious...is this an esthetics request or are you needing bigger icons for vision problems?
  20. Imgburn can't do this...you will need another program to create the menus and folders.
  21. No problem
  22. I'm sure this isn't what you are talking about...
  23. Welcome to IBF SS. Latest version of Imgburn was released not long ago, update to 2.4.2.0 please. Also Imgburn will not read from copy protected sources.

  25. Happy birthday G5MYM, hope you have a good one.
