HI guys...
I've been trying to read a little bit on Pressed DVD-Rom discs but im still a bit confused...
On Wikipedia they say --> DVD-ROM has data that can only be read and not written
Well, i get this but, how did they write the DATA that can be "read only" at the first place?
and if so, Do they sell empty DVD-ROM discs that we can then "home" press?
-
just buy elby CloneDVD™ 2...
this will Shrink + burn your movie....
you'll then be able to play it on your home DVD Player...
-
u need a DVD Authoring program here...
ImgBurn's just a Burning Application...
-
i too at one point suggested a COPY function
but, its still easy to achieve using READ/WRITE functions...
see guide here --> http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6380

yepp, i think using a Lens Cleaner + Verbatim DVD+R DL (MKM-001-00) should do the trick...
-
-
when u say
"On the burned disc i got the 1/2 screen symbol burned into movie right in the middle of the screen"
can u post a screenshot of that icon plz
-
goood luck
-
i think theres no IMAPI for Win 7....
thats probably why u didnt find it...
Try a lens cleaner on your burner then burn again...
If the above fails, the laser might have died....
sorry
-
SPTD warning is because you have Alcohol installed or Deamon Tools...
u can still burn discs, but its to notify you
that u may have detrimental effect on drive performance.

Probably, I've never tried it.
You can uncheck the 'MPEG Audio' option in the AC3Filter settings (via start menu 'AC3Filter Config' shortcut) - I believe that'll stop it from inserting itself into an MP3 decode graph.
It might be an idea to enable the tray icon too so you can actually see when it's being used (or not).
ok will do! thanx

yeah theres good freewares out there!
Macrium Reflect Free Edition http://tiny.pl/hm86m
or
EASEUS Todo Backup http://tiny.pl/hm86x

I cleaned the lens and wrote at 6x!
Worked great!
Thanks for quick replies!!
No problemo!
-
AC3 filter won't be decoding them (or at least I don't think it will be!), you can just tell it to insert itself into most graphs and then you can use its features such as boosting the volume etc.
ok so, creating an AUDIO-CD from MP3 files will result ok?
-
I purposely try to avoid anything that's 'all-in-one'.
That said, it's not a bad one.
ok because,
since he wanted to create an AUDIO CD using ALAC audio files,
making a quick search only showed that the "DC-Bass Source Filter 1.1.1" Filter could support it...
besides the big bulky FFDSHOW that we like so much
meh...
EDIT BY ME:
---------------
i've installed the "DC-Bass Source Filter 1.1.1" but notice now that my MP3's are handled by AC3!!??
thats totally wrong right!?

Update your firmware to --> WY04 --> http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-T20N/files.html
then try again and burn at --> 2x
if that doesn't work i'd try a Lens Cleaner....
-
name was too long so I took a screenshot at it.dvdrom.bmp
Looks Like a Virtual Drive to me
just to know,
Do you have Deamon Tools or Virtual Clone Drive installed?
-
