Hello Darthpc,
in a way i understand you,
cuz your new,
and in another way,
i understand them too...
Listen,
They constantly keep dealing with people "Not Reading" the Forum Tips in the BIG PINK RECTANGLE....
So i know it gets really irritating for them
after answering the same thing over and over again, every day after every day,,,,
you get the point....
And is the BIG PINK RECTANGLE really that small?
But to answer your problem,
we need a Log File of the burning process because
that file will pretty much tell us all we need to know
in order to ping point your problem...
Now that u dont have it,
its hard to say....
My first steps would be to make sure my DVD drive has the latest Firmware
and that i use only the best quality media such as VERBATIM and Taiyo-Yuden...
But like i said,
No Log = No Accurate Solutions
or
No Log =
-peace-

If you have any problems, try running your anti-rootkit apps in SAFE MODE

ImgBurn v2.4.4.0
i have a vist 64 computer and i just want to make blu-ray data DVDs
how well does this work?
blu-ray discs make expensive coasters!
thanks all
Dunno how to respond to that....

Use DVD Shrink in re-author mode or something like that
I do use DVD Shrink. If I find the re-author mode, what do I do then, or what will I see? I don't know much about Shrink except that I do "open files" and "backup". Thanks again for any help.
This is not the DVDShrink support forum, and your question is not about ImgBurn, sorry. But you can find the answers to that and many other questions about Shrink by simply using Google to look for them.

i recall installing Deamon Tools too....
wonder if that app corrupted my DVD-RW...
hmmmm....

i was reading about your DVD-Ram drive and found this:
MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-851S
----------------------------------
Its also a well documented FACT that Matshita/Matsushita/Panasonic Drives are extremely Media picky Optical Drives
and Require the use of known proven high quality top of the line error free Media
such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim Media.
Attempting to use any lesser grade Media will only result in less than desirable results...
Side note,
you may also want to verify if you have the latest Firmware update for your DVD-Ram rive...
as your drive is an OEM drive (notebook, laptop)
then your only reliable source will be the manufacturer of the computer the drive came with...
And as this is a Panasonic drive
chance of finding firmware is very slow...

What is vital though is the abilitiy to call something like:
burnplot.exe c:\myibg.ibg
and have it open it.
i agree!
thats very important!
Oh by the way,
it still doesn't work on my XP SP3 FRENCH...
Here are the files you wanted --> http://www.sendspace.com/file/398t4f

Singapore for DL media.
Oh! ok.... for DVD9's.... perfect!
-
My 50 spindles Verbatim -R also comes from Taiwan and I think they are good.
It's the Chinese ones that can have a tricky quality level.
OK thanx cuz, ive been reading that Singapore is the way to go for Verbs so,
if you say Taiwan is fine then, i might just jump on this deal!
25$ for 100 DVD-R Verbatim i mean, cant go wrong right!
-
100 DVD-R Verbatim for 25$ CAD...
good deal?
note that they r made in Taiwan though....
-
There are lots of seemingly hidden places you can right click on and have menus appear
Roger that! thanx!

You can also right-click the drive selection box and choose Check For Firmware Updates
I actually didnt know that one lol,,, thanx!!!
-
-
Select Any of the 5 available Modes first
then use the Tools' -> 'Drive' -> 'Check For Firmware Updates...' feature."
-
it would be really nice if ImgBurn had its own "DVDInfoPro" !!!
Im on a FRENCH XP SP3 and i cant make it work...
i always get this error msg:
-
Actually, it's made by Elaborate Bytes
very true
-
well, i made the slide show on auto movie creator. and the output of my slide show is wmv.
then just import that "wmv" into a "VIDEO to DVD converter".... like:
-DVDFlick (free) (does also the burning part for you)
-ConvertXtoDVD (Pay) (does also the burning part for you) (this one's my recommandation)
-
To avoid any problems like that i stopped using Nero Recode...
I moved on to CloneDVD2 made by slysoft...
Its mint!!!
-
with which app u made your slideshow?
and the output of your slideshow is an avi flv wmv ?
Movie only option?
