How about a dialog that would come up if it's on? It's in the log, but, many, well... of the less attentive users might not pay attention to the log at all. The dialog could then say "Look, I can turn this off for you, but, you might not like the results in other things, depending. Are ya sure you want me to?"

Usually, when sites redirect, they change the Address bar address. That's what really caught my attention more than anything else. That the "wrong" address wasn't replaced with the home site in the Address bar.

In English, it means Microsoft fucked up again.

I'm not even entirely sure how this worked! I was looking at the topic located here http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1781&st=20 I wanted to go to the main www.imgburn.com page to check out something there so I went up into the Address bar with the intent of just dropping the http://forum part and replacing it with <a href="http://www and" target="_blank">www and</a> deleted the part after .com. Well, my large fingers hit the Enter button while trying to hold down the right shift key to highlight everything after .com and ended up entering the address http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1781&st=20 To my utter surprise, the www.imgburn.com main page loaded. And, yet, the Address field still reads http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1781&st=20

All that beer is just to lower everyone's defenses for when he starts serving the party snacks... which look suspiciously like two mice on a trap... :&

And here I was under the impression the software was called ImgBurn and not MovieCopy. Go figure...

Since the logs state that a Verify, if it fails, cannot verify X sector, depending on where it failed, I was wondering. Is it possible to start a Verify at X sector to compare against? I ask because what if you have a case, and you can probably guess I do and this is what made me think of it , where a burn completes, but, the Verify fails. And, running the Verify in a different drive fails at the same place, to rule out the drive. I didn't have it in this case, but, I got to thinking, what if the Verify fails at, say, 90% in? My thinking was, if it was possible, can a Verify be told to start, then, at X sector from the log where it says it fails? That way, one can jump right to that area and see if it's the disc or the disc and that drive together, etc.

Well, unless they fix the ' problem... As for auto-correcting, a recent Headline on Jay Leno pointed out the problems with this. Autocorrecting black for political correctness turned the phrases "black arm bands" and "black numbers on their jerseys" to "African American arm bands" and "African American numbers on their jerseys."

Converting to bytes won't really help. The time versus the size of in bytes is based on the compression used in the video. If you want to know the bytes, you'd have to check out the disc size. Or the size of the stream. If you want to do any conversion, just drop the Frames (ff) all together and divide the mm's by 60 to get hours, etc.

Received this in an e-mail from Amazon.com: "We've noticed that customers who have purchased Doctor Who - Remembrance of the Daleks have also ordered The Miracles of Jesus on DVD." And, I bet ONE, at least, did. BUT, why the FUCK should *I* care?! Squeeze the blood from a stone, the blood of christ, and the stone that should have been cast at him at the well with the harlot, or one of those stones that will cry out his name if we don't at Judgment Day? IDIOTS! Drive Amazon.com's money changers forth from the temple...

Well, you got one up on me, then... I'm not aware what you knew.

European Launch of Playstation 3 Delayed to March 2007

The general pattern of DVD releases is that TV shows get released in R2 before R1. As for movies, it depends on if there's a new DVD encryption technique the content owners want to test. If there is, the movies get released over in R2 first. For instance, with Doctor Who, there is still no R1 release for The Enemy Within, and Revelation Of The Daleks probably only finally got an R1 release, a year later, to coincide with the Genesis R1 release. Since Warner Brothers knew that Genesis, the most popular Doctor Who serial of all time, would sell, the BBC finally okayed Revelation for a simultaneous sale for Dalek fans as a push, an added incentive to buy. -
I wasn't aware I had lapsed idiotic into stories from my youth. No, those are worse. Going as far back as 5th grade, when they first started to notice things I kept denying myself. And using them as their source of derision. Or, rather, I THOUGHT was theirs at one time, rather than being the tools of another. And, then, when the teachers started joining in in later years, oh, that felt great! No, I was more along the lines of Sloth. Admittedly, I looked slightly better. Ironically enough, I am as tall as the football player who played him. I actually saw The Goonies in theaters. Even played The Goonies II regularly at the arcade and it was one of my earlier NES cartridges.

You know? I was a real idiot. I got one of the 20 or so PS2's that the store in this town got in 2000. And, I didn't sell it on eBay, when I should have. I was smart and pre-ordered early, by about a year, expecting this type of junk to happen. I didn't sell it because I just wanted to revel in the fact that I had whatever everyone wanted and couldn't get for a change. For once in my life, it wasn't me looking in through the window and wishing. As I said, I'm an idiot. So, I just ordered up a pizza, played some PSX game since no PS2 games were out yet, ironically enough and, well, did my normal routine: went to bed after that for getting up for my graveyard shift. -
Only if you bring the avatar along. It's about the best I'm going to get. I'd be enraged to violence... if you weren't so undeniably correct about my pathetic state. Never been to a bar. Don't want to drink. Never saw alcohol as a way to escape my problems. I won't go anywhere near the territory my dad went into. Actually, I take that back. Once, when I was like 12, I was taken to a bar by my grandfather. He and my grandmother were watching me while my mother worked one day over the summer. The truck we were driving around in broke down, so, we had to go inside a bar where my granddad met with many from the VFW and Legion. Oh, and, 10 years ago, someone I knew who ran a video rental store for years decided to get out while the getting was good. She held a going out of business party on the store's last day. It was at a local bar. I only remember not drinking anything but RC and playing Bohemian Rhapsody on the jukebox. "I'm just a poor boy; nobody loves me. He's just a poor boy, from a poor family. Spare him his life from this monstrosity!"

Wasn't Nixon's the last US state funeral before Reagan's? Back in 1994? I remember his funeral was covered all over TV akin to Reagan's. Not as much coverage, but, a lot. I would have to think it depends on what the criteria are for a state funeral in Australia. If there are any criteria.

Yes, that's a fairly good analogy. As opposed to the current way it would have to be done of mounting the .MDS as a virtual drive and then adding only what you want in Build Mode and/or adding new files and then saving a new image. UltraISO's limitation in this area is it will only save larger than 4 GB files either to NTFS or as proprietary .ISZ or whatever format.

Short, sweet, and to the point. If it can't be done, it can't be done. Or, if you don't want it in there, it ain't in there.

Ah, BUT, do YOU know why it's .068 seconds? First, the answer is Star Trek: First Contact. (Good one, God.) BUT, I find it more interesting that 0.068 seconds is also the standard quartz oscillation that is used in the processors of the modern electronic parking meters developed by POM, the creators of the original analog models in the 1930's. Somehow, I find it cannot be coincidence that the two references involve processing time. But, you never know? After all, I just happened to see First Contact for the first time a mere few hours after have had sex for the first time. Imagine the irony in that?

REGARDLESS of the name, I was making a major leap outside the realm of cognitive thinking. It needed to be addressed, so, I addressed it. As for the double posting, I've seen IE do it a few times during those tests on a virgin partition without Firefox installed. I am more inclined to blame it not necessarily on the board software entirely. But, an oversight in it. That it doesn't take, properly, into account connections that aren't, well, connecting. It should be written to check for such double posts immediately one after the other.

I was wondering if it was possible to make Build Mode load .MDS, and/or any other types of control files such as .CUE? My thinking here was it would be possible to take an existing disc image and then, if possible to load it this way, delete and inject files into the system structure, and then save a duplicate of the image with the desired changes and insertions.

I could use some help here, too, probably. The only times I've tried to create one, using a boot sector extracted from a Linux boot disc from an Acronis rescue media, I could get it to boot but not run the utilities afterwards.

Of course, one needs ImgBurn. Remember Windows 95? ImgBurn far outshines Windows 95 as a reason to get a computer if you didn't have one to run it because it would change your life forever.
