  1. Ah shit it's filtered by my work - what is it blu ? Can it be copy/pasted ??
  2. If you are still getting those errors then your drive doesn't like the media you are using, look for the discs the boss suggested and see how you get on with those. Unfortunately there are a lot of sub standard media dyes out there....
  3. Imagine if you knew it was your ticket and numbers but couldn't find the damn thing !!!
  4. Quite probably although the connection speed is shite !!!
  5. Stupid bastards - I have had issues with Codejunkies.com, they claim to have items in stock for immediate dispatch, so you pay and then wait and wait and wait, the free phone customer service line is permanently engaged and after mailing them 12 times I get one sarky reply to the effect that the item is out of stock and website isn't working properly !! To be honest if they communicated better I would have been happy to wait but I have just cancelled my order as they can shove it up their asses now.
  6. It happens to me now and then depending on characters/symbols being used, as per the advice above re-writing anything not normal text sorts it out.
  7. To be honest it's not something I can ever see myself (nor probably most of the people who use ImgBurn) using.
  8. Just my 2 cents worth but I would vote for the Pioneer drives too !
  9. Thanks either Jack or dbminter should be able to explain all, actually digi could as well if he were around ! I have stuck it on my online rental list too !
  10. Well I got my last order of 20 from the US - there is a sticky post about it in the Chat forum I think... http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=2999 In the UK www.svp.co.uk do a good deal altho the stock sells fast...

    DVD Ram

Mmm I don't recall these issues with mine at all - did you format the RAM disc in the PC before burning to it ? From memory I think I used one of the formatted RAM discs (from when I tested them in the Media/Drives forum) to burn a copy of the kids ICE AGE 2 film. That worked fine in our Panasonic DVD player.... I honestly don't remember changing any other settings. If I get the chance tonight I can retry with one of the brand new RAM discs - what model number is your mates player ?
  12. Don't forget if you highlight the option in your screenshot above you can then preview the selected layerbreak position and know exactly where it is. This is very useful when you have a selection of options as you can preview each one and visually compare where you want to put the layer breaks.
  13. Ok just use the option you have in the list then - it should be fine
  14. Don't worry it's been in ImgBurn for a couple of releases now but it certainly wasn't always there
  15. Ok lads anyone got the time to give me a quick summary of the Dr Who episodes with the 5 Dr's - was that the one with The Master as well ? My 5 year old was asking about it yesterday evening when I mentioned The Master and I had to admit I couldn't remember what happened or even the story behind it.....
  16. Deffo look for updated firmware as this may fix the problem with the discs but next time you buy get either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim discs for better compatibility/quality
  17. Hee hee Since ordering my Dell I don't believe I have ever used any of their "customer service" providers so can't comment really other than that for me at least the PC has been ok, cheap and cheerful really.
  18. I didn't have much luck with Traxdata DVD+R DL's so do as polo suggested and get Verb DVD+R DL's, a copy of the ImgBurn log would tell us if you are missing anything but like polo I think its the media.
  19. I would have thought so too Shamus Besides enough options have been given above by the other members - this is definitely not an ImgBurn support issue as far as I can tell.
  20. I have used Herries extensively with my NEC drives and never had a problem, have also been able to return them to stock NEC fw when required without difficulties too
  21. At least you got a succesful burn, I am sticking with XP Pro for a while yet until some of the annoying niggles with Vista are resolved - thanks for letting us know.
  22. I saw one advertised last week at SVP for silly money and it played just about every format of disc/media too !
